everything was great, including ALL the workers!

Posted Sep 19, 2017
Pros: everything
Cons: The pillows
Location: lots of nearby bars to watch football games.
We stayed 4 nights the weekend of the Wisconsin vs BYU football game. The included breakfast was great all 4 mornings with friendly waiters. The front desk was great and friendly. The Bell boys were always smiling and asking if we needed anything at all. They gavse us great directions as we walke around town!

Great Location but needs a bit updating

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: Location and the Bed
Cons: bathroom needs to be updated
Location: Connected to the City Creek Mall and great restaurants all around.
Upon my arrival I was told the Concierge Room was closed for the weekend, and I paid extra for that perk. They stated that they gave me free breakfast instead, but no I booked a Breakfast and Concerige level room not one or the other. The room was very big as it was a corner room, but the bathroom was super small and very disappointing. For the price I paid I was not satisfied. The bed was very comfortable and its located in a great area its right in the middle of everything.

Spacious room and nice amenity.

The hotel is conveniently located. A large indoor mall that includes Norstrom. Many restaurants including the famous Blue Iguana (which we ate twice in three days). Across street from the convention center. Two blocks from the Temple Square. The only downside is the noisy tram in the early morning hours.

Nice downtown location

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Had extremely loud room next to us. After 2 calls to the front desk, both after 11 pm, no one addressed the problem. At 12:30 am, I went and addressed the issue myself. Something a customer shouldn't have to do, especially after being told twice that they would take care of it. Will not stay here again.

Convenient and accommodating

Posted Jun 2, 2017
The Marriott is right next-door to the convention center and conveniently down the street from the light rail station. It's very easy to get to from the airport ($2.5 on the light rail) and in walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Looking closely with in the room you can always find things to be unimpressed with but depending on your room you could have a perfect view of the mountains and a greatly accommodating staff. If you are coming from out of state just be sure to have your drivers license because he can't going to any establishment serving alcohol (restaurants included) without it - even if you don't intend to drink!

Parking

Posted May 10, 2017 on Hotels
Hotel was fine. The only thing I didn't like was haven't to pay $16.00 a day to park in their parking lot. Thought that was a bit pricey or un-needed. Someone staying and paying for a room should not have to pay.
