Convenient location and great view

Posted Apr 20, 2017
The room was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. It was also close to many things to walk to. The parking wasn't great at the hotel though.

Good

Everything was great except the parking. It is quite inconvenient as it's a bit out of the way esp if you come late. Expect quite a walk. Otherwise it was quite nice. Typical of a Sheraton Surprised there were no movie channels but that's a small thing.

I am sorry you did not find our complimentary parking to be easy. I will follow up with my front office team to ensure we are providing better directions on how to enter the building from our lot.

Very nice room and public areas

Posted Apr 14, 2017 on Hotels
This hotel used to be the Salt Lake Hilton. It looks to be recently refurbished and/or upgraded, the room was very nice. The only major complaint was that the restaurant did not open until 6:00 PM, leaving the bar menu as the only food choice on property. The only minor complaint was that the shower head was very high.

While I am sorry our hours of operation did not meet your scheduling needs, I am very excited to say the remodel work is finally complete and our new restaurant space will be open today for lunch. We look forward to welcoming you the next time you stay!

Quick overnight in Salt Lake City

Posted Apr 9, 2017
Renovated rooms with nice beds. Bathroom fixtures in my room were not installed properly, so the towel bar came loose and the sink faucet moved around. Free breakfast was ok. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

OK Hotel but overpriced

Posted Apr 8, 2017 on Hotels
Good location, the front desk didn't even know how to explain to us how to get to our room when we check in, our room used a proximity key and they only give us a mag stripe key and we had to comeback to the desk to get the correct one. The loft lay out is not the best, supposed to be for up to 4 guest but it has a very small closet the king bed is in the upper level but the drawers are downstairs, the only small bath is upstairs and the shower head was 4ft high so you had to be in your knees to take a shower. Location is good and the hotel is a big property with some good amenities but for $200 per night I would expect better service and room quality

I am sorry to learn you had some difficulties with your guest room key working properly. Your comments are timely in that we are currently replacing all locks on the hotel. Thank you for taking some time to let me know as it makes me feel good about where we are spending our capital dollars.

Loud, Terrible hotel

Posted Apr 8, 2017
It was more like Vegas than Salt Lake City. Noise Loud all night long. We made complaints at 2am, 4am and slept three hours. There were slamming doors, people coming in/out literally all night long, some with children crying, dogs barking incessantly through the night... this place is a disaster. Floor 2 is a bizarre 10min-15min walk of ramps. One front desk lady was professional and nice. Others were rude, argumentative with zero desire to solve problems or engage in customer service. Find another hotel. Avoid this one.

Posted Apr 4, 2017 on Hotels
No pool available, shiuld have mentioned it when inwas making the reservation. Had a move giude for HBO and showtime. But no cable available. Fawcetts not working properly. Repairs going on in rooms around us and debris and parts from doors left in hall way thru our duration of stay.front dek agent kind of aggresive and bitter. I havw stay at Westins and holiday inn and Hilton. I really tjought sheratons were better. First and last time for us staying at sheratons.

I apologize our pool was not open during your stay. It's an outdoor pool, so we open Memorial Day Weekend and close Labor Day. Please let me know where you saw it listed otherwise so I may get the information corrected. I appreciate your help!
