Functional for business

No fanfare hotel that is about 5-6 minutes drive to the Riverwalk areas. Loud air conditioning unit!

Not what I expected

Good things: our flight arrived early (9 am) they let us check in early! Going with two kids that were tired that is a big plus for us! The staff is really nice but I have a complain, one morning a guy came to my room around 8:30am and he asked me if I wanted housekeeping service, I responded back "of course I want, just give me an hour, we will be leaving soon" so we left ALL day. We came back to the hotel at 10pm, our surprise was: the room was a mess!! No one went to clean it, I went to the front desk and told them the situation, they said that they would send someone to clean it. An hour later my husband called to find out what was happening they said to wait 20 more minutes and they needed to remind housekeeping to go. We waited and nothing, I had to comeback downstairs to return my dirty towels because they just gave us clean towels and didn't take the dirty ones, they offered me clean bedsheets for me to do the bed!! Why I have to do it if early morning I said I wanted housekeeping service??? Anyways we ended up sleeping on a messy bed and dirty room. Yes, they offered free breakfast the next morning for the inconvenience, but still the experience wasn't nice (unfortunately we couldn't get it, my kids were at the pool and breakfast was until 10am). The hotel is not really close to the riverwalk, it's like 20 min walking, literally there is nothing around the hotel to do. The market square was close though (10 min)

Staff was really helpful & friendly. We arrived there's a few hours before check-in time and they gave us a room right away. The room was comfortable and clean. The only problem was the shower drain. The bistro's food was just ok.

Awesome location not to far from the river walk and the room was nice and clean did have a musky smell but nothing to bad I'm sure it was from being close to the river but over all loved it

Cons: More comfortable bed/linens. Updated carpets etc.
The courtyard Marriott is a perfectly fine well run hotel, but everything about it is a bit workman-like. The carpets are brown, the towels a bit older than you want. Perfectly fine, but for the money I wish I had found someplace a bit nicer.

Motorcycle ride from Montana to San Antonio!

Good times and comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I truly enjoyed the onsite restaurant with Starbucks products and other hotel amenities . Much to offer with a great location! Crazy amount of protected birds flying around so careful where you park...lol. Free parking was awesome also. Overall great stay ! Would do it again!
