Staff is very polite and professional. Hotel is nice. The only complaint that I have is the size of the bathroom.

overpriced for location and wrong rating

The hotel is not located where advertised. It is rated 4 star but the lobby, building quality, and approach road are of a 3 star variety rather than 4 star. room service and menu options are terrible. Security is non existent. I had three drop Off leaflets at my door. I felt I was in a motel 6! Too expensive for the service and conitikns. Bathroom was terrible too. Never stay here.

First and foremost, thank you for staying with us at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio. I do sincerely apologize if you felt our downtown location was misleading as our 6.5 acres are nestled just 2 blocks from the riverwalk. Marriott Plaza's location being just close enough to the heart of downtown and yet just far enough away to enjoy the calmness of downtown, it does allow for great access. Great Place to stay

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of many activities. The outdoor fire pit was relaxing. The peacocks added a great ambience. 5 stars

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The service was fantastic from the front desk to the staff at the bar. Very friendly environment and great location.

Just ok

Honestly, everything about it was just fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the entire room was dark, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, the a/c was so loud it woke me up at night, and every time I turned on the shower a little rust water would come out first.

Not a pleasant stay

The service was cheap compared to the price paid, I had to ask for a microwave and they provided one that didn’t have a tray, in other hotels, with this price the microwave is part of the room. The worst thing, the room needed serious pest control, there were cockroaches all over.
