Good for Business Conventions

I stayed here for a convention. It's great for a convention and it's in a good location on the River Walk- as it's combined with the River Center Mall and only a couple blocks from the Alamo. While it's kid friendly- it's obviously designed to host large conventions. It does have a pool and fitness center- but little to no spa services. The rooms are clean- but the hotel is becoming a little dated. I would not recommend this hotel for any type of romantic stay and/or nice dinner plans because the bar area and restaurant are just average.

Needs better shower heads. But overall very nice hotel with great personnel. Had a nice view on the 24th floor.

Fabulous!!!

I love this hotel!! I have stayed here multiple times and the staff is so courteous and friendly every time I am here. Check in is always quick, the valet service is great, and the location is perfect!!

Nice hotel close to downtown

The hotel & staff are amazing! My only complaints would have to be the price of the valet service, I do agree & understand you have to pay for the services but it would be nice to have the opportunity to park elsewhere for free! My other complaints are the price of the internet (which for the price we pay for the stay & valet this should be free it is everywhere else!) & if we can't get free parking or internet maybe complimentary breakfast!

Good location and that was it

Great location downtown. Within walking distance of the Alamo and right on the river walk. Room was small and out dated. Felt it was really pricey for what you got. Off-night parking at the hotel was just plain highway robbery. Could have had another nice meal out with the family for what they charge daily for parking. Oh and good luck getting any coffee after 6:00. There Starbucks and gift shop closes at 6:00.

Nice hotel right beside the river walk

Pros: Cleanliness and location
Cons: Parking was way over priced. If I recall correctly it was $37 a night
Location: River walk and mall right beside hotel. Walking distance to the Alamo. Lots of restaurants close by.
Clean and good location. Staff were very friendly and professional. All round very nice hotel

Good location but not worth the money

We stayed here for 4 nights, the room was average, hot water took forever to heat up, air conditioner had to stay on 67 to keep the room a comfortable temperature. Pool was nice. They told us at check in that they would add our parking to our room key. We knew there would be a self-parking fee (I believe Expedia said $25/night) but we were never told the fee until we received our bill. $37/night for self-parking is ridiculous and I would've refused had they told me how much it was. The one time I went to the Starbucks in the lobby, they had no coffee and couldn't make coffee-based drinks. Asked for change one night at the front desk to use for laundry, employee I had been waiting in line for suddenly had something else to do and told me I'd have to wait for the other clerk or go to the bar, so I tried the bar where the bartender was quite rude to me. It is in an excellent location but we will not be returning. We have stayed in nicer hotels that cost much less.

Right off the river walk.

Pros: location, location, location.
Cons: Drop the 37 dollor a day parking for guests in your garage, have a continental breakfast...for all guests....ive been in cheeper that had all this.
Location: centrally located, right off river walk, Alamo a block away, zoo, aquarium and other attractions are only about 30 minutes ....
The Hotel was nice, services were great, responded quickly to anything we needed, staff was very pleasant.
