perfect for riverwalk

Not in the heavy populated area. Perfect sitting area along the water. Great place to lounge, short walk to everything.

What you’d expect from the Westin. Only complaints is they changed their bedding / pillows and they aren’t near as heavenly as they once were, and parking is outrageous, no other options.

Loved the riverwalk in the back of the hotel but would have preferred a room overlooking.

Tips to save money at the Westin

Had a 2 night stay at the Westin with my Mom for Mother's Day. The hotel was excellent. There are a couple of things that we did to save money and a couple of things we could have done to save money. 1. Book on an off time. We went on Mother's Day. The hotel was full on Saturday, but empty on Sunday. We saved $60/night staying this particular weekend. I'm sure they have other off times you can book and save. I would call the Westin directly and ask. 2. Park your car yourself. There is a parking lot across the street, the same parking lot that the valet charges $43/night for. You can park for $20/night if you do it yourself and you don't have to pay a tip. 3. Get Free Wi-Fi. Lastly, if you book your room directly through the Westin (you have to join their free club) then they give you wi-fi in your room for free. Otherwise it costs $21 a day. I like Expedia, but if I would have known this ahead of time, I wouldn't have used them. Hope this helps!
