It is well located. Unfortunately, I had to pay an extra $89.75 for 5 day because of the hotel internet and 2 bottles of water/day. The internet connection was week though! This extra fee was NOT specified in the original deal! Man, this is not cool! Do something about it
Location is great and you are able to walk all around Little Italy and enjoy San Diego. It is like a small hostel and the room was clean and the hotel has recently updated the rooms. We would stay there again.
This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The only thing to keep in mind is that certain parts of the hotel are currently going under renovations. Regardless, we were very happy with our one night stay here. They do charge for overnight parking which is a bit pricey if you are staying for ...
Can't fault this place. Adjacent to the front of Petco park. Home of the San Diego Padres. Class location on 9th avenue. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this city!
The rooms are very nice, they have a modern look to it. View from the room was pretty, we were right smack in the middle of gaslamp which was super convenient. The only complaint we had was when walking in stairways and lobby it was a little humid.
Beautiful hotel, room was nice, check in was easy, only thing is you have to pay for parking, but other then that nice hotel
This hotel is priced well with a great restaurant and amenities. It is very close to the convention center and Gaslamp District. It is perfect for travelers attending conferences and very romantic for couples.
I booked this hotel for a week while I was in town for a business conference. What a great hotel! The extra comfy bed and the amazing shower are perfect after a long flight or a day spent on the go. The staff was very nice and provided suggestions for food and places to visit in my downtime. The ...
Very clean room and hotel overall. Very helpful and friendly staff! An amazing location - couldn't have picked a better one as it's located in little Italy and very close to the airport, gaslamp quarter, seaport marina and the waterfront - all places we walked to! Thanks for everything. Loved San ...
We ended up booking our room the day of, and to our surprise they upgraded us to a poolside room for free. We loved everything about this hotel, including the bar Hope 46. The craft cocktails were amazing, and the prices were reasonable. Our room was very comfortable, and it was so nice having our ...
This is a trendy upscale hotel with rooms on the smaller side, but plenty of amenities. A modern hotel in a historic building blending into the Victorian style in the quarter. Parking is an issue, but there are lots nearby if valet service is not needed. Nice rooftop bar/lounge area. ...
This is my second time to stay at the Solamar. I chose to stay there because I had such a wonderful experience 5 years ago. The staff is so friendly, and it is not a fake friendliness. The staff recognized me when I came and went...and sometimes called me by my name. The young men on the door were ...
The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is simple and a bit small, but the beds are comfortable. The hotel is near a major street and not far from the airport so it my be a little loud, depending on the location of the room. But it is in the Little Italy area, and not far from the downtown ...
I loved the decor and the location of the hotel. The window are thin and even with them shut you can hear the party goers till late night but it wasn’t that bad. I would definitely stay the night there again
The customer service of the hotel staff was great. They were all super nice and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms....I expected them to be a little tacky but they weren’t at all.
We stayed here for a wedding and the room was fine, it was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the ballpark and Coronado bridge. The parking is ridiculously overpriced at $45 a night, luckily there is a parking garage that only changes $15 a night across the street.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. What an amazing place. The people who work there ar3 so friendly! I highly recommend it.
