Stayed here many times..Seems to have become more pricey..57 dollars a day Valet, 22 dollar continental breakfast??? Currently undergoing remodel..New rooms are nice, new fitness center as well..May look at other options in the area...
The staff and the facilities were very accommodating! I do wish that there weren't extra charges that came along with utilizing services such as WiFi-- I feel like that should be included in the cost of the stay.
Stayed for a night and liked that I was given an option to upgrade the room via an email a few days prior to the arrival date. Great staff and great location, Will recommend to friends and will definitely return.
Very short stay, but enjoyable and comfortable. The shower was very nice and had good temperature control and pressure. Bed was comfortable and the room was very large.
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Spencer really took care of us during check in by providing wine and chocolate strawberries to help celebrate my wife's birthday. David in the concierge was very helpful with getting around town and booking our Alcatraz tickets. Union ...
So nice to be in a small hotel which is attractive, easy location, top-notch cleanliness, and great maintenance, eco-friendlly, and a nice staff! We will certainly return. The only "problem" is that, because there's a HUGE convention in town, the laws of supply and demand raise the rates significantly. ...
We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hotel Rex. It is an older (I would call it an "old school" East Coast-style smaller hotel right in Union Square. The price was excellent and the room very comfortable and claen, larger than many other comparably priced SF hotels. The location is fantastic. ...
The hotel room was not what it looked like in the pictures but at least it was clean and the room was bigger than I anticipated. The tv did not have cable though so we couldn't really find anything good to watch. The wifi was also a little slow so that was disappointing. How ever there was warm water ...
An overnight stay before a series of meetings the next day. The hotel and its staff satisfied all my needs. Tonga Room needs to be be updated. Room was ready when promised, clean, comfortable, with a nice view of the SF skyline at night.
Overall I had a pleasant stay however they were doing construction in the lobby. The deposit rate was different on their website, it says $100 and when I checked in they tried to charge $50 per day. The room was stuffy, I couldn't open my window more than 2 inches the nailed it that way. The room ...
We had a wonderful stay and the hotel's location was fabulous. Lots of places to eat and shopping within walking distance from the hotel.
We loved our little vintage hotel. Both of us have lived in and around SF and this brought back so many memories. We were treating ourselves to an over night so we didn't have to drive 2 hours home and back again with back to back appointments a day apart. For one night this little place was perfect. ...
The overall experience is okay for the price. When I travel I'm rarely in the hotel room unless it's too sleep. You get bread and coffee as the breakfast included, parking is $30.23 a night at a structure across the street. The room has an awkward shower head placement but everything else was ...
I got in very early and was allowed to check in which really made my day much better. It's under renovation so some issues with water and a bit of noise but they told me up front and it was fine. Location is good but not for night walks. I took Lyft.
