While I Was staying in the hotel I decided to go get some food. But before i left i set camera on my laptop to record video and opened a search browser. I left and found a nice pizza by the slice place not far away. got back to my room about 35 minutes after i left. on my way to my door i thought i heard my room door shut. i unlocked the door and no one was there. After watching some tv and eating my pizza i remebered i set the camera. And i Caught a guy in a mask with gloves come in from the fire escape. luckily and not sure why he didnt take anything. dint take my laptop. I reported this to the front desk showed him the video. he asked me to email it to the hotel email. and nothing else. ive never heard from the hotel since even though i have reached out many times. they didnt want to move me to a different room and wasnt going to reimburse me for my room since nothiing was taken. And he didnt seem concerned or suprised. i do not recomend this hotel. out side of that it was a clean and nice hotel with little amenities. and was totaly a fair price for what i paid.

I loved the deli on the corner. There was an Italian restaurant in the building that I want to try next time. Trader Joe’s is close too. Staff is completely nice and helpful. Rooms are fully renovated with super comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom is big and stocked. I’ll be back!

This place was ok. I’ve stayed at far better but for the price it did what was needed. This place is no frills. The fitness center is laughable but again in a pinch can get the job done. If you go right out of the front door you’re in the Tenderloin. Best to avoid this area. If you go right you can take a scenic walk to Fisherman’s Wharf past Telegraph Hill. My room was very cold at night and it was noisy. I would recommend as a last resort and you must be in SF city limits.

It's an average and decent hotel. I am not a big fan of old elevators, so that was a turn-off. Also, the staff were very blasé about their jobs.

It’s obvious that a LOAD of money was poured into this period building to make a clean, modern, safe hotel experience that pays homage to its Edwardian roots. Bravo, bravo! Nob Hill Hotel is located in a convenient and walkable part of town with many transit options.

The property is a funky little boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Great little breakfast/ lunch cafe just a few steps up the street.

The hotel is very loud. I could hear conversations in other rooms. There is no vending machine. The room was mostly clean, but in need of some paint. There is no on-site parking which is very inconvenient.

Nob Hill Hotel just completed fresh renovation. The building of the hotel is over 100 years old. But, the amenities are excellent. The staff is very friendly. Nearby, the are cafes and restaurants. Trader Joe’s is a block away. Uber rides to most SF locations are short. Try it out. You like it.

No bathroom—at least not in the single double bed room I rented. I may have neglected to notice this in the ad, but it was very inconvenient. I stayed here back in 2015 when it was a hostel and it was almost better then… sure you had to share a room, but the communal restroom/showers were well marked on signage and they were clean; I would’ve preferred if it was still like that, the private room isn’t worth the additional expense in my opinion. Overall not bad, but for the money you might as well spend a bit more and get yourself a proper hotel room, or find a hostel for less.

The hotel was fine, however the rooms are very small. I had issues with Condensation on the toilet causing the bathroom floor to always be wet. Location is OK, however there are a lot of homeless in the area and a few blocks away. Nothing the hotel can do about that, but does make going out or coming back late a little less comfortable.

Property is listed as free parking, but was directed to a to a paid parking spot two blocks away and I had to shell out 40$. Room is ultra small, so much that the door doesn't open all the way as it hits the bed. The guy at front desk had zero clue on what's happening and was expecting us to answer things about the property. Regarding the area, less said the better. Surrounded by junkies everywhere, litter all around. Very unsafe, was extra cautious, just to step out.

Great location
Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because there’s no overnight parking offered & room was slightly small. Other than that the hotel was very clean & remodeled. Location was also nice as the markets & some bars were walking distance. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

It was good enough to sleep for a last minute option but I didn’t feel clean enough to take a shower. You could smell the mildew in the drain. Hair in the bathroom that wasn’t mine, dirty utensils found in between bed and night stand. The bed didn’t have any bed bugs but the top sheet was dirty. I just took it off and slept in a hoodie and long pants. It’s an old building that they redid and updated. Definitely a historic spot but there is a homeless shelter around the corner so just be mindful of your surroundings. I did not feel unsafe.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. There was a parking garage a short walk away and the hotel provides a discount for it which was greatly appreciated. Definitely be aware that the neighborhood surrounding it isn’t the greatest, but so long as you know where you’re going you’ll be fine.
