The staff was incredible. In particular Mario went above and beyond what one would expect. He is a very valuable asset to this hotel.

The butler staff was excellent. Quick to respond to each request, knowledgeable about Santa Fe, and good conversationalists.

Very happy with are stay. Wish it had been longer...super comfortable bed and room, very clean, nice view, nice amenities. The pool, spa, and restaurant looked great, shuttle service outstanding. Entertainment lovely flautist. Close enough to walk to everywhere we wanted to go-The plaza, canyon street, etc...

Total Fabrication

Posted Sep 2, 2017
Pros: location only
Cons: needs a total upgrade
Location: located near so many great Santa Fe landmarks, art galleries, museums, historic, places, how can this be this poor??
The Hotel Sante Fe presents itself as this quality upscale lodging when in relaity it is a tired old property trying to trade on past glories. The hotel is old and out of date with premises stale, smelly and in need of serious rework. The exterior is dark, dank, and over grown, the lobby is dark dull and uninviting with staff only half heatedly in a mood to receive you let along take care of you. At Check in I was informed that despite having prebooked and PAID IN FULL for the reservation, I owed the hotel an additional 28 dollar 'resort fee' (???). So much for prebook through EXPEDIA!!!!! The room was old and dark, poor carpet, outdated plumbing and bath fixtures, broken lamps, broken furniture, and stale smell. All in all this is the worst experience for a hotel I have had in several years. FOOT NOTE: Iwas in Santa Fe to attend a concert at Santa Fe opera, and lo and behold, Hotel Santa Fe is major sponsor (?????????) what a disappointment and a black eye for a great institution like the opera!!! Stay away from this hotel until it is totally refurbished, or demolished and replaced, ( don't even get me started on the farce of being a spa!!) Look else where, there better. Hope all out there write more detailed reviews of your stays, they very much needed by all of us travelers, instead of just 'oh good place, had good time' type of reviews. Thanks, happy travels to all.

2 Night Santa Fe Vacation

Posted Sep 1, 2017
Pros: Evening wine receptions offered an excellent variety of cheeses, wine, beer, and crackers. All staff were professional and courteous.
We stayed in the Hacienda section of the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very professional and courteous and the breakfast and evening wine receptions were excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Santa Fe.

Great hotel, friendly staff

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, the room itself (comfortable, clean), gym, pool, spa (lovely massage!).
Cons: The lobby did not have an open, spacious feeling.
Location: Easy walk to the Plaza, even easier walk to Railyard District and Guadalupe Street.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Santa Fe. It is a short walk from the Plaza, and very near to the Railyard District. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. We had no problems during our stay, and appreciated the warm atmosphere.
