Beautiful decor, friendly atmosphere.

Posted Jan 23, 2018
Cons: I wish parking wasn't so expensive for hotel guests - I wish it were included in the room fee.
Staff was friendly and the service superb. If the main restaurant is too crowded, the bar has a wonderful atmosphere and the bar food is just as good. Excellent location to the Plaza.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. It is a beautiful, nicely decorated with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the restaurants. We were able to walk to all the sites we were interested in seeing. Lots of shopping was available.

Beautiful, old world hotel in the heart of SantaFe

Posted Jan 19, 2018
Pros: Everything was perfect.
Cons: Nothing could be improved for us.
Location: an authentic restaurant we loved for breakfast was Tecolote Cafe. Blue corn enchiladas at Maria's Mexican Kitchen. Genuine New Mexico comfort food..
We loved this hotel for the old-world charm, beauty and character we hoped to find in Santa Fe. Celebrities, politicians, everyone stays here--so you never know who you will see! We saw ZZ Top last time! The food is wonderful, and the furniture in the rooms is handmade, and so unique. Highly recommend this if you, like we, love experiences which mirror the culture and ambiance of a destination location.

Opening Day of Legislature

Posted Jan 18, 2018
Pros: Warm and friendly
Cons: Better parking would be nice but that is very hard to do in Santa Fe.
Location: Legislature.
Sean and Patrick were great as usual. Your staff is great and 5 different people remembered my name. I felt like part of the family.

Our favorite hotel so far

Posted Jan 17, 2018
This is our 3rd visit staying on/near the Plaza and La Fonda is definitely our favorite. The rooms are clean and decorated well with a classic and yet modern feel at the same time. While known for a great dinner menu, we have to say the BREAKFAST menu at La Plazuela was outstanding as well. We will definitely be returning.

Great hotel, nice old historic building.

Posted Jan 10, 2018
Extremely charming, great experience. I personally liked the historic elements of the architecture, located in the middle of town, walking distance to the main historic square and basilica.

Historic hotel with Central location

Posted Jan 8, 2018
Pros: Location and character
Cons: The shabby area rug in the room
The La Fonda Hotel is a Hotel with lots of character and has an excellent location. You can walk to everything in the historic district from here. Check in and check out were both quick and efficient. The restaurant in the center courtyard was almost excellent except for some unfriendly waiters and waitresses. The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable. That area rug, though, is quite shabby. Overall, we had a Hotel experience at the La Fonda.
