Perfect stay

Great location but costly

I was fairly surprised by how small the room was. Also some of the attention to detail was lacking- crumbs on the floor and feeling a bit worn down. Staff fairly professional but nothing really stuck out as amazing- what we usually expect from a Kimpton stay. This wouldn't prevent us staying with the chain again, but probably not this site.

Nice Hotel Cheap Staff.

Pros: The location is good. Everything else sucks.
Cons: With this staff and mentality, I hardly believe something can actually be improved.
1) Received Complimentary Valet, I would rather pay rather than getting that kind of service. If you see the young girl as a valet, stay away from her. She drives aggressively also she is super rude. The valet guy is super sweet and nice. He knows how to talk to you and how to take care of your car. 2) Hotel Staff was super cheap. Acqua Panna bottles were on display, but when I asked for one of them, they gave me super cheap local bottled water which did not make any sense. If you do not give them out why do you display them ??? 3) No room service late at night. So if you get hungry good luck with finding food. 4) Amenities were like a joke. You cannot even take them out with you. Also, hotel fills amenities up as they run out, which made me question hygiene of those liquid soaps and lotions. 5) The fan in the room was EXTREMELY LOUD. Made it very difficult to sleep. 6) Receptionists have a weird attitude against you. If you want proper service do not be polite. Because they are not polite to you. When you share your concerns with the staff they do not even care. They say ok ok we will take care of it. No apologies even.

Hello Timmy, I appreciate you bringing this incredibly concerning feedback to my attention. I'm very alarmed by your comments about our female valet and the front desk staff. I regularly receive lovely feedback about our team. Regarding the bottled water, we have several different types and I suspect that the staff gave you what was most accessible so that you didn't have to wait. I'm sorry that the larger dispensers of bath amenities do not appeal to you. It's part of our commitment to eco-friendliness. The small bottles produce so much waste. I assure you that the bottles and dispensers are thoroughly sanitized each time the rooms are cleaned. I'm terribly sorry that the fan was so loud. We are actually in the process of replacing all HVAC units. The new units are very quiet. I apologize for the noise disturbance. If you are willing, please contact me at the hotel to discuss these issues. I would like to address them with the appropriate people. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Excellent location hotel in Seattle

Pros: The location was ideal; very central. Staff incredibly helpful
Cons: Not a thing
Location: The main library is next door a few blocks away from Pike's place, lots of shopping and site-seeing; steep hills so work on your cardio.
This is just steps away from central Seattle. Anywhere you want to go; ideal site. It is also just a few minutes away from the main highways. The only drawback was the parking- a tad pricey at $42.00 a night but I would say it is pricey all around that area if you must have car (which I did need); if you can forgo the car no worries. The attendants for the car and overall service from the staff stellar. We cannot say enough of the Tulio Restaurant. We ended having to eat at the hotel one night and it was a definitely amazing experience.

Pros: Location was great.
Cons: My son was confused and lost, had a room key but wrong room number. He was not assisted when he went downstairs to check-in desk.
Location: Downtown
It was OK - but I have stayed at nicer Kimpton hotels. Some of the staff was friendly, some could have improved in their service.

Fabulous hotel! Their restaurant, Tulio, is really outstanding. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very stylish. Small gym, but very nice equipment and gets the job done. Great location with easy access to downtown. Hotel staff was okay, one female staffer in particular had very poor customer service skills, but overall had a good experience with other staff.

Nice hotel walking distance to Pike market place

Overall great place to stay and walking distance to Pike market, aquarium and other places. Hotel staff were very friendly and very accommodating to our questions and what we asked for. Only challene was that the room was kind of small and the wooden corners of the bed frame was big and bulky and we kept bumping into corners of the frame. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

Hello Ryan, We release the credit card authorizations on our end at check-out. However, some banks hold them for up to a week after we release them. I'm not sure why they do this.
