Nothing to eat. No elevator

Posted Sep 17, 2017
The history of the hotel is fascinating the actual condition of the hotel was very good. There was no elevator which was he surprised us and not mentioned in any of the descriptions and it said full service restaurant which ended to be flatbreads and salads only. No room service which were led to believe there was. Bed was uncomfortable pillows were hard and flat. It was very clean though

Fantastic hotel spoiled by location

Posted Sep 17, 2017
You can have some of the best staff and some of the most charm in the world. You can have large rooms with all the space and character that you need. You can have a well supplied continental breakfast but with the need for rethinking of how it is laid out. BUT if you can't get good sleep because of large articulated trucks and other large traffic vehicles at a very busy intersection then what's the point? Also the WiFi is patchy at best away from the central core. The lack of a lift/elevator would be troublesome for older people.

Shabby Chic - Maybe too shabby?

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: It's like taking a time machine to the turn of the 19th century.
Cons: Add a protein option to your breakfast, eggs, yogurt, cheese, meat.
Location: Great location
PROS Very boutique-y. Feels like a bed and breakfast. Old timey apartment building converted into a hotel room. My room was clearly a studio apartment in years past, with a sitting room and full kitchen with a built in breakfast nook. Adorable "high tea" style continental breakfast. Very cute (but only bread and fruit - no protein). CONS There is no elevator and you have to lug your bags up two flights of stairs to get to the second floor where I stayed. Plumbing is old and suspect - shower never got hot even though I only used the hot water valve. Bathtub looked like the original tub, cracked, stained, and ugly as was the bathroom sink. The sink was newer but was crack, stained, and unclean. My room reeked of cigarette smoke from previous guests.

Cons: [bathtub is kind of old and should be replaced]
Location: many cafes, restaurants, and shops
We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, close to the Space Needle, restaurants and public transportation. Nice and quiet stay.

Wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the MarQueen. The rooms are extremely spacious with all the amenities. The staff was most gracious, friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect -- walking distance of the Space Needle and many other attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Old Hotel

Parking is expensive. Much better to find street parking close by. Also, free breakfast only include bread and fruits, and donuts,, and not eggs, sausage, or bacon.
