A great chain with a fun, hip pineapple theme. Great rooms and amenities. Fantastic staff and service. Close to the piers and Seattle center.

Fabulous stay with great amenities, great front desk service, great restaurant recommendations and a fun bar.... great location!!!! I loved the pineapple motif!!! You can't go wrong with the Maxwell!!!

Loved the hotel

Pros: Pineapple everything! The bed was incredible.
Cons: Fast WiFi never worked for me; never got the confirmation email.
Location: Seattle Centre is awesome.
The bed was sooo comfortable, and the neighbourhood was really nice too. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

We stayed here for one night prior to cruise...first time I called hotel directly to arrange travel to pier I spoke with someone who was not helpful at all and said they didn't do that...I called back second time and spoke wiith another person who was very helpful and connected us with a great car service..on site staff was very helpful also....just glad I called back because would not have given good review otherwise.

CHECKED IN FINE. CALLED THE DESK IN THE EARLY EVENING ABOUT A MAN OUTSIDE OUT WINDOW TALKING TO HIMSELF AND YELLING. NOTHING WAS DONE. HE WAS THERE FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS. WE WERE AT THE HOTEL TO GO SEE MY SON PERFORM IN SEATTLE. HIS SHOW WENT UNTIL 1:00AM. WE RETURNED TO THE HOTEL ABOUT 2:00AM. MY DAUGHTER WAS HOPING TO SLEEP IN AS SHE IS NORMALY AT HOME WITH HER YOUNG CHILDREN, AND I NEEDED MY SLEEP, AT 55 GOING TO BED THAT LATE WAS NOT A WORRY AS WE WERE PLANNING TO SLEEP IN. AT 9:00AM WE REALIZED WE WERE SURROUNDED BY DOORS WITH HEAVY CARTS BEING PUSHED, LETTING THE DOORS SLAM CLOSED EACH TIME. TWO HOUSEKEEPERS WERE CARRYING ON A VERY LONG TIME YELLING AT EACH OTHER FROM THE ROOMS THEY WERE IN WHILE THEY CLEANED. TO PAY CLOSE TO $400.00 DOLLARS FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS WAS A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. MENTIONED IT TO THE STAFF AT CHECK OUT, BUT THEY DID NOT BRING A MANAGER OUT, THEY JUST THANKED ME FOR THE INFORMATION. REALLY? ROOM #302 SHOULD BE DISCOUNTED AS WELL AS EACH ROOM ON EACH FLOOR THAT IS SURROUNDED BY YOUR HOUSEKEEPING CREW. I OWN A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT BUSINESS. YOUR STAFF COULD HAVE CALLED IN A MANAGER AT THE VERY LEAST. COOL HOTEL, CRAPPY LOCATION IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP IN.

A hotel with Character and GREAT staff

Cons: All good by us.
Location: You can walk to the Museum of Pop Culture, the Space Needle. Short free hotel shuttle to Pike Place Market and to on-the-water dining.
From check-in onward, the Maxwell was superb. Got dinner recommendations, sightseeing options, and booked the free shuttle. Went to Pike Place Market and to the Museum of Pop Culture. The hotel's GM is a savvy hospitality expert. Just riding the elevator to your floor was fun. And they had complimentary coffee and pineapple cupcakes in the afternoon. Great bar and lounge areas. It's an eclectic place, and the price point is right there with other good hotel chains. Bed was super comfy, with duvet covers that made you feel like you were in a cocoon. Every time we'd come back from some excursion, the front desk asked how it was, and if we needed anything. It is service without pushing. Go here if you want to have fun in Seattle. We will come back, that's for sure.

Loved the shuttle service! (Definitely need to plan ahead for busy times though ;) VERY helpful, hospitable staff! Great amenities! Convenient restaurant, bar, quick breakfast pastries/eats!
