I enjoyed our stay at the Pear Tree. The bed was comfortable. The staff and service was great. Secure & free parking.Cleanliness was great and upkeep was good but it is an older building. Location was very cool. It's right across from The City stadium, near Union Station and many craft breweries within walking distance BUT the area is in recovery so not sure I'd feel safe walking too late at night. My one suggestion for room improvement would be to add USB charging ports and a bit of maintenance. I actually hope to return for another stay!

We were in town for a show at the Chaifetz. Overall, the stay was comfortable and the facility was clean. There is a restaurant on site, which is convenient. The only bad parts were in the hotel room itself. There were bare-bones amenities, and the toilet did not flush very well.

The amenities are incredible. Walking distance to a lot of places as well as convenient for uber/ shuttle. The employees were incredible and the room was clean. The bathroom is very small and the pool was always full of kids but other than that we loved our stay! We will be coming back!

I got there at 2:45. Despite saying on the website that early check in is available for an extra fee, I was not allowed to check in. I was told to go to the parking garage and hit the "help" button and I would be buzzed in so I could park. I and another person sat in our cars buzzing for 10 minutes with no answer before a random employee buzzed us in. By the time I got back in with my luggage, there were at least a dozen people in line. I didn't get checked in until 3:40. I don't understand how that is better than letting people check in 10 or 15 minutes early. Ridiculous.

Miracle was super friendly and accommodating during check-in at the front desk, we really appreciated her excellent customer service! Daily happy hour and buffet breakfast was a nice touch as well. Highly recommend!

I love this hotel! I'm so glad I booked with Pear Tree. Went with 4 adults and 2 kids. Pool and hot tub were always cleaned and well maintained. We enjoyed free breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (they seasoned the eggs 👏👌) waffles were delicious. They do evening snacks and a few free drinks for adults ♥️. The staff were amazing! Doris, Reggie, Regina, Quincy were extremely nice and always helpful. They are a treasure to your hotel and deserve a bonus or something. The attached restaurant, sybergs was tasty as well! Location was walking distance from the soccer stadium, Union station (a must to visit), and a Starbucks, gas station. Free parking at the hotel as well!!! 👏👏👏♥️ Food: check out sugar fire and Cathy's kitchen. Trust me.

I booked this property online through Expedia. Upon check in I waited in a short line where a man checking out of his room had went directly to the front of the line. Assuming it was going to be a quick interaction I wasn’t initially bothered but the man at the front counter spent 3-4 minutes with him. An additional counter associate had come out of the back room and had pointed to the guests behind me and said she could help them. I had been there much longer and had been cut in line so I was annoyed at this point. When it came to my turn I let the man behind the counter know I was checking in and slid my ID to him. He pushed it back to me and asked me to wait a moment. after he continued to click at things on the screen for a bit he said he was ready for me. He asked me my information and told me to insert my card. There was no price on the screen and I assumed he was taking record of my card like most places for deposit or incidentals. When he passed me a printed paper I asked him what this was for because I didn’t see a total or was told what it was he said “sign it” so ignorantly I did assuming it was a release to keep my card on file. After our stay I found out that I was later charged $231 for a room I thought I was paying $150 for. I tried to call customer service. She told me that as an adult I should make it best practice to read things before I sign it however I think it would be best practice to have communication with your guests and offer a receipt.

The manager Mr. Delaney was wonderful. Reminding guest name and ask how the stay is, gives it a personal touch. Every staff member was super nice. Location and parking was a plus. Room could need a little update but that was it. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a very well kept property. Room was lovely, staff was friendly, excellent amenities... good restaurants and other things to do within walking distance. We were here on a Sunday, so St Louis was as crowded as it is during the week. You wont be sorry if you book this hotel!

The property may be a bit older but very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was identical every day- variety would be nice! Elevators speedy. Parking very easy. Would stay here again for Arch Madness.

The staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and the free breakfast was a step above the normal free breakfast. I really like that there were plenty of places to eat with in walking distance. The restaurant right on the property had a good selection of food and drinks.
