Horrible Experience

From the “sort of” clean room to the fire alarm going off at 4am the topper of it all was getting our car back from the paid valet service to find a 4 inch dent in the passenger side door. Marriott refused to take responsibility and pushed it to the Rogers Centre (where they park the cars) and Rogers said it wasn’t their fault. We paid Marriott for the service, their valet said the dent wasn’t there when he took the car but here we are. There are MUCH better hotels downtown to stay at. Stay there, not here. Absolutely horrible experience.

Very nice hotel, clean, large room. Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful Check in a and check out was fast.

Incredible stay

Great, friendly, honest staff. My girlfriend left two rings on the night stand when we checked out, one from her grandmother and one from her mother. We called in to ask and the staff assisted us in pomptly. Without a doubt, I would recommend this hotel. Thanks again for your honesty and service. Jeremy Jeffries

Close to attractions, but not a Marriott.

Cons: customer service and housekeeping.
The lobby was beautiful and I wish that the experience was throughout the entire hotel. When you book a Marriott, I typically expect that I will be staying in one. I know that it was recently taken over by Marriott, but there were some room conditions that I would not have expected. The tub drain was stuck, so if you wanted to take a bath you cannot (being pregnant in my third trimester, I do like to have a foot soak at the end of the day, especially after a long day of walking); the carpet was ripped, we found clothing tags from the last visitor on the floor, the refrigerator didn't work, and the staff had not restocked the coffee. When checking out, we never got the question, "how was your stay" and my husband had to tell them about the problems. They told us we could have called housekeeping and they would have accommodated us. I agree we could have, but I'm not going to call housekeeping at midnight when I realize that our food isnt cold, the tub doesn't close and that when walking on the carpet for the first time in bare feet that its ripped and feels like I'm stepping on something sharp. I'm also not going to call housekeeping when we are 5 minutes away from leaving for breakfast in the morning that there isn't any coffee for the coffee maker. These are things that housekeeping should have supplied before, that is their job. We weren't offered any rebate, but were offered points. But, we never received the email for the free points.

Excellent Stay

The studio room was spacious and clean. Wished the sofa mattress was more comfortable but it's expected from sofa beds. Overall great experience with the hotel and staff!
