Told there was a buffet breakfast. Checked in about 1am & not told anything different. Came down to in am to eat breakfast & then told breakfast was cancelled due to construction. They didn't know this at 1am?

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your stay at our hotel. I would like to sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations during your stay. Unfortunately, we had a construction team in which had the bar closed all day on your check in day for maintenance. We had hoped to have it up and running for breakfast the next morning but it was only when our breakfast staff came in at 4am did we decide not to go ahead for both the safety of our guests and staff members. We hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Too expensive

Posted Sep 15, 2017
I paid $300 for a night and it was too expensive for such a hotel even with no refrigerator in room.

Close to everything

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: Rooms very cramped but clean.
Cons: I think the lobby could be more presentable.
Location: Good location, we visited the art gallery and went to a live show in the evening, Tim's was across the street no problem with location.
Although I thought it was a bit pricey, it did include a glass of wine in the bar next door 20% off our bill at the Irish Pub next door where the food was excellent, and the buffet breakfast which was well worth how much we paid for it. Once we parked the car we could walk to everything we wanted to do.

Needs Work!

Posted Sep 6, 2017
Older hotel that needs renovation. It would be a good hotel, if they would update it. The staff was awesome! The location leaves a lot to be desired. The area is in renewal, but some buildings in the area are very old and/or closed/boarded up. There is a very large amount of homeless in the area.

Reasonable hotel, good location.

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Shopping.
A typical 3* hotel. Our room was small, too small for a couple. Breakfast was quite OK but very small variety and no vegetables at all. Hotel's main strength is its location.

Downtown vancouver

Posted Sep 3, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Smell in the room, update
Great location for catching a cruise. About a 20 minute walk to the cruise ship. The hotel was clean, however had an old musty smell to it. Also they did not include breakfast and at the price it should have.

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay in our hotel. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Being located 5min drive away from the pier, our hotel is very convenient for cruisers. We do have a direct taxi line at our Front Desk and would be happy to set up transit to your destination as well. This reservation was made through a third party company and the option to include breakfast was not chosen at the time of making. Our buffet breakfast can be purchased as a package with your room cost, or at an additional cost of $10 per person +tax. We look forward to welcoming you back during your next trip to Vancouver!

It was not as good as the photos at all. The air conditioning was not working. Breakfast was cancelled for two days. We were compensated for it but the inconvenience remained. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Small but perfect

Posted Sep 1, 2017
was surprised with the small size of the room. But, lobby peoples were very kind and willing to help anything with a smile. Bedroom and bathrooms were very neat, clean, and quiet (although it locates in the middle of the downtown). Location was perfect to go many venues by walk in downtown. I used the parking lot. It is a private parking lot of someone else. But, it is just next to the hotel and hotel's reserved lots for guests are enough. I had no problem with multiple in and out. Always I could find several parking spots. Great experience!

Space might be narrow but the comfort of the bed is excellent. Very neat and clean room. Accommodating and helpful staffs from housekeeping to front desk. I will definitely stay at comfort inn again if I get a chance to visit Vancouver in the future
