Cons: Hot tub was dirty and crowded. It had soapy dark scum gathering on corners swirling. Some people apparently didn't heed the pre-shower rule.
Excellent stay and the staff made it memorable for our 25th anniversary.

Extremely Disappointed

Pros: Located extremely close to 2 train stations.
Cons: See my experience.
Location: Can access everything Vancouver has to offer, from shopping malls to restaurants.
For the price, the room should have had a sea-side view, not the city view. If "booking through Expedia" is the reason for denying a customer points, please let the Expedia bookers know about it. The pictures posted are pictures of rooms with a sea-side view. The discount through Expedia wasn't that big either, would've just added a few more $ to stay at an actual nice hotel, or request for a refund had I known that this would be my experience. The staff who assisted me in checking in and checking out were friendly. However, the chatter of the overstaffed valet personnel by the entrance of the hotel was a negative encounter that I experienced every time I entered or exited the hotel. Unfortunately, the one time check in and check out conversations won't make up for this. Bath robes were never replaced during my 7 day stay. They were taken out the bathroom after each use but again, never replaced. Was denied Fairmont points (stayed there for 7 days, what a waste of points) due to booking through Expedia.

The Fairmont Waterfront is everything I hoped it would be, close to all downtown attractions, very service oriented, well appointed, and just a beautiful hotel. For those with kids, the children’s menu hits the spot for hungry children and adults have a good selection at all hours of the day. The prices are as expected at a Fairmont property-not over the top but not inexpensive either. Keep up the great work!

Quick business trip

Super close to the sky train Waterfront terminal. Very convenient if you are flying in & need to be downtown. Only negative would be the hallway noise. Should have asked for a room further from the elevator. Great bar & lovely room.
