Great arty type non chain hotel. Super friendly staff. Room hot due to no AC. Bathroom fan too noisy. Only one pillow.

Nice hotel close to the zoo and shops

A great alternative to Corporate Hotels.
Warm & friendly staff welcomed us, excellent service in the restaurant & at breakfast. Diner was really delicious & the staff catered for dietary requirements, again at breakfast our needs were met. The exterior of the hotel is boldly decorated, it stands out from the crowd. The room was fabulous, decorated by local artists in the Toyism style, which was extraordinary, it was also comfortable. It is a fun hotel to stay at, we will visit again.

Arrived at 9pm Following a 10 hour drive from Munich and still was offered a meal. Food incredible. Owner and staff very welcoming into an eccentric hive of art and culture. Incredibly convenient for Emmen Zoo when it opens in March 2016. Great hotel

Great Hotel
Stayed for one night on business travelling with a colleague. The outside of the hotel is certainly not easy to miss! The first impression from the car park is that the hotel looks something like an old style motel. However, once you enter prepare to be very pleasantly surprised. The reception staff are most welcoming and the hotel interior is first class. My colleague and I stayed in two of the themed rooms and the standard of the rooms was exceptional. As it was raining out we decided to give the hotel restaurant a try - super food and reasonably priced. Here again the staff were extremely attentive and efficient. Breakfast was additional to the booking price but was a well stocked buffet which set us up for the day. Would definitely stay here again if in Emmen.

Gedeeltelijk "Kleurrijk en Modern"
Het "boutique" gedeelte is aan kennelijk de voorkant en in het restaurant. De kamers aan de achterkant dienen nog een opfris beurt te krijgen om ook aan het label "boutique" te voldoen. Praktisch maar sfeerloos. De ontbijtzaal is ook sfeerloos. Ontbijt was verder prima. Eten in het restaurant in de avond is heerlijk en sfeervol. Goed voor een kort verblijf maar "Kleurrijk en Modern" is het nog niet volledig.

Great Price-Quality ratio, very friendly crew. Easy access by car due to hotel's car park right outside the entrance. Slight drawback regarding the food in restaurant; the steak wasn't quite up to expectations, the dessert was however utterly delicious. In all, we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.
