Great food, great rooms

Posted Sep 25, 2017
Pros: Plenty of parking; lovely location. Great staff, great food, lovely rooms, lovely breakfast.
Cons: Slight touch of paintwork in some of the rooms. Small thing, but it draws your eye.
Location: Lovely location. Plenty of things to do nearby. Malvern Hills, quite a few National Trust places - so bring your card!
Lovely place to stay for a night or two. Stayed with family on the way to the Malvern Autumn Festival. Staff were lovely, food in the evening was fabulous - would recommend the pork belly, pie and burger. Nice décor and general atmosphere in the main pub - bedrooms were tastefully decorated and very spacious. Breakfast was lovely - newspapers, news on a screen with the sound off, if you wanted it. Really relaxing.

Pub rooms in country

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: The setting in the countryside.
Location: Good location to tour the country houses and old towns in the area. Worcester and Droitwich are nearby.
I had a very comfortable stay in this pub/hotel for two nights. Despite the fact that it was a pub it was not noisy and the situation in this rural setting was excellent. I would recommend it. The food here is also very good and the breakfast is cooked to order.

Return Trip

Posted May 16, 2017 on Hotels
We have stayed here a number of times over the last few years. This time we thought it had lost a little of it's sparkle. Food is still good and breakfast service as efficient, but rooms need a bit of TLC and the restaurant staff more organised.
