“Nice staff and rooms, but the communal parts of the property are quite dated. The pool wasn’t open during our stay due to heating issues which we were emailed about a week before but by then we had already booked excursions from Isle of Mull, ferries and travelled from far so it was too late for us to change all of this and we’d loose to much money. We were also surprised that you had to book a slot for the hot tub which was cleaned every other hour and completely emptied every three days……

“The host was very kind! I appreciated the drinks and snacks in the room and the comfortable bed! It was so cozy and warm! Check in was easy as I arrived late in the evening all the instructions were posted for me :) I would definitely stay again! ”

“Such a cool old hotel over looking the sea. Floors are uneven due to how old it is but we loved our room overlooking the harbor, fun storm we watched from our room. Wish we were there for a longer stay!!”

“Ideal one night stopover for ferry from Oban. On the pier with patking at the railway station. Room is small but had everything we needed. Shops and restaurants nearby.”

“Good location in town central to everything. Spacious room, but a little noisy due to hard floors in unit above. Kitchenette was well appointed. ”

“The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. Bathroom door stuck every time and the bottom sheet was not big enough for the twin beds that had been pushed together. The downside was that there was a comment that we had booked through Expedia when we arrived. We know that booking through third party companies rather than directly can lead to guests being given the less favourable rooms which can be……

“Breakfast was good, and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel does look very dated though, and the carpets were very worn especially noticeable on the stairs. The room was clean and the hotel is in good location”
