Too small, in all aspects.

The room was extremely small, my fault, I did not check room size before booking it. The beds barely fits in the room, beds are about a foot and half smaller than the room width. The bathroom is extremely small. The lady at the lobby quoted me the wrong price for breakfast. Regardless, it was cheap, and relatively clean for sure. The shower was not as clean as everything else.

Great location, nice staff, good parking

Rooms are like a Motel 6 If you are planning on sharing a room with a co-worker..You had better be close friends, the beds are stacked together, I mean touching.

Spot on stay

Stayed for a week and found it all spot on. Room was nice and clean and cleaned etc everyday. Hotel staff where nice and friendly and helpful. Can't fault it, only 10 mins walk from the Metro station or just grab a taxi outside your hotel, only cost around 3 pounds. Great place from which to explore Dubai.

Dirty rooms

The 3 rooms I saw were smelly and dirty, the front desk staff transferred me to another hotel

Economy hotel.

Pros: Clean and quite.
Cons: TV is too small should be bigger, I understand that a large screen wouldn't work in such tiny room but still a larger TV would be nicer.
Location: Good location, walking distance from the Metro and surrounded by nice shopping area, some supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants.
Reception staff was not helpful, didn't make much efforts to give me a nice room maybe because the room was prepaid.and the receptionist who checked me in told me "you can only make room change once even if the room is not used" the rooms are very small and poorly equipped. bathroom is clean but small and not convenient. bathroom door opens to outside as there is no enough space inside. Food not tested, location is convenient and not far from the Metro. Hotel is clean and quite. Suitable for singles, students and for short time.

Avoid this hotel

Staff full of trainees incapable to answer simple questions. Check in took 45mins. Answers like "if you like" when asked why the cigarettes are more expensive in hotel. Dubai in general is overrated but if you wish to stay hi next hotel Novotel al Barsha. Its proper.

Nice hotel, with very good service and a great breakfast buffet. I agree that this hotel needs some renovation though.
