Comfortable hotel about 10 minutes from DXB

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. Rated 4-stars and located in Deira in the traditional heart of old Dubai not far from the gold and spice souks. The hotel is about 10-minutes by taxi from DXB airport, and close to the metro red line (5 minutes walk to Al Riqqa station). Although visible from Al Muraqqabat Rd, there is no direct access from that street, so trust in GPS or the knowledge of the local taxi drivers to snake your way to the front door through backstreets and a car park. Once inside you're warmly greeted by the reception with a cup of juice or water as they check you in. The staff in every department is friendly and courteous, and they put guests at ease by greeting them in person or on the phone by using the guest's first name with the appropriate title. Yes, the hotel is small enough that everyone quickly knows who you are, but not in an intrusive sense. One gets the idea that you are important to the hotel and the staff truly want to serve. The room was comfortable and spacious. The only negative was that there was only 1 free outlet for charging electronics (under the desk) away from the bed. The bar counter was enough to enjoy a late-night meal delivered from the 24-hour cafe in the lobby. This was the first hotel I've stayed in where the menu for both cafe and in-room dining is the same, and the bill didn't include service charges, so I recommend a nice tip to the staff upon delivery. The room service menu has variety as does the morning buffet.

Very friendly and polite staff

Spacious room with comfortable bed and bed linens. Kitchenette makes one feel at home and is a nice touch. Very friendly and attentive staff helps make the stay very pleasant. Located not too far from the Metro which makes it convenient to travel around the city. I would certainly choose this hotel whenever I visit Dubai.

Nice hotel apartments, close to the metro.

Pros: The Hotel was very clean just a fantastic place to stay as all staff were very friendly and eager to assist in any way.
Cons: none
Location: This is a great place to stay and explore Dubai. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in locality which are reasonable.
Arrived in Dubai on the 17th of January for 6 days, the locals say this is the best time to come the weather was from 23c-27c. booked the big bus which takes you round all the attractions, went in to the Dubai mall where they have the under water zoo with sharks and all other types of fish, great for the kids, you also get access to the Burj Khalifa building from the mall. The next day went on the Metro down to Dubai Marina where you get the tram and change to the mono rail for pam Jumeirah, you also have the Atlantis water park at this location. I did the 4x4 desert safari which was a great day out. This is the first time I have been in Dubai for a holiday and will certainly be back as the locals are very friendly and it is safe to walk about at all hours.

I like to stay in this hotel is feel like I am at my home, the Hotel Menagerie Mr Issam very active always at the front desk helping the Guest, He knows how to absorb the anger of guests

convenient location

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: carpet needs changing and housekeeping should replenish toiletries when cleaning the room
Location: location near Al rigga station. convenient supermarket just behind the hotel. restaurant within walking distance. 10 minutes walk to shopping mall.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. location very near to train station.

Good Hotel with great staff

Pros: From check in to check out everything was very professional.The staff were very courteous polite and very efficient. The welcome soft drink was nice.
Location: Good location about a 7minute walk to the metro with a 24 hour supermarket close by.
A hotel that provides great service and made us feel welcome and our stay enjoyable.Staff are very efficient, friendly and polite.In summary we felt at HOME away From HOME.

Good hotel good price

This is my second time at this hotel. I hope to go again. Very good and kind staff. However my stay started with little problem at reception. I booked twin bed room. The recepsionist (his name is Salim) said me they have not room twin bed only king bed. He blame me wrong booking. I was sure about what i booked and i insist about check and check again. Finally he accept nothing wrong with booking and offered me add a second bed to the room. Next day my room changed. But i didnt like that he directly blamed me. They created problem and they solved. Take your expedia booking paper with you eğen you checking in.

Excellent hotel, very helpful staff.

Pros: Very competitive currency exchange at the reception desk. Avoid exchanging at your outgoing airport or exchanges as rates won't be as good.
Cons: Food variety (buffet breakfast), but quality and quantity were top notch. Also, minibar and room service menu is quite high (as is expected)
Location: 5 minutes from the main metro link on Al Rigga Rd. Metro link is the ideal way to traverse the city.
Room - clean and comfortable. Nice little touches. Food - was good. Limited variety but plentiful and tasty. Staff - very helpful. Very welcoming and caring. Particular among the staff that made a great impression to us were Ade, Sayeed and Anand.
