good facilitiesPosted Nov 20, 2015
Pros: staff, rooms, beaches
Cons: outdoor dining area for breakfast/ dinner.
Location: activities at hotel :water sports/golf/gym/ tennis/ squash/badminton on site. trips arranged by third party- burj kalifa/desert trips etc
plus points:self contained resort means its very safe, good facilities, excellent food, variety of restaurants, lovely beaches, clean warm seas, staff very helpful, free courtesy buses to all the main shopping malls. well appointed , very clean rooms. minus points: sea views spoilt by concrete foundations of the huge second 'palm' development, alcohol expensive( wine £30 per bottle minimum), isolated location- no public transport links. This hotel used to share facilities/restaurants with the palm tree court on the same resort site- but now the beaches are separated , and the open-air dining area at the palm court isn't accessible unless you pay extra. The main restaurant used for breakfast and dinner is all indoors- which is a shame considering the beautiful position of the hotel, and the great climate. tip: if you want to see something other than shopping malls, take a free hotel bus to a shopping mall, then get a metro( clean/easy/cheap) to the old end of town , near the creek, for the souks and water buses( abra),

Great hotel & resort away from cityPosted Oct 14, 2015
Pros: Perfect beach loads of room / sun loungers
Cons: More toilets closer to the beach and towel pick up areas
Location: out of town location but plenty of activities at the hotel. hotel run a shuttle to the city also but limited times
Very relaxing great deal of respect & attention from all the staff. fab food in all the restaurants including the buffet . We upgraded to the Palm Court section of the resort which was just outstanding, go all inclusive or half board at very least as drinks & food very expensive

6th visit to this hotelPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: The staff are exceptionally professional and ensure that guests have the best of times. There is an excellent range of restaurants to suit all tastes.
Cons: The provision of a swimming pool facility for adults would be very helpful at busy times.
Location: There is an excellent golf course attached and a variety of water sports activity available. It is 25km out of the city, courtesy transport provided.
This a hotel which is always where we choose to stay when we visit Dubai. It is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, so a more relaxing environment. It has changed in style over the many years we have visited, becoming more family orientated, especially in the school holidays. There is nothing wrong with this focus, but visitors wanting a more quiet, less crowded stay may we'll be advised to avoid the school holidays. The resort is enhanced by attractive, well tended grounds and by excellent attention to detail by its staff

Great holiday destination for everyonePosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: The rooms are clean and very generously sized. Staff are polite and attentive. Pools are cooled and amazingly clean. Lifeguards are always on duty.
Cons: Not really. Unless someone wants to give me a free hoilday.....then it would be even better.
Location: A little out of the city, but free shuttle bus from the hotel means access to the sights is free and easy. Taxi to the airport was around £18.
Our holiday was everything we'd hoped for and more! This is our second visit to JA, which I tend to avoid normally, but our second trip lived up to and surpassed the first trip. The room was amazing, superior garden room, it was HUGE! The staff are attentive and great with the kids. Pools are clean and the pool bar well stocked, with everything you could need included in the all inclusive package (ALWAYS book all inclusive!! You'd get your money's worth in soft drinks alone!!!) take advantage of the free shuttle bus that will take you to the city for sights such as the malls, water parks and the Burj Kalifa (All of which come highly recommended by my 2 young boys). I have friends to return to JA time after time and would defiantly recommend to anyone wishing to travel to Dubai - couples, families and big groups of friends.

Nice Resort on the BeachPosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Best part about this hotel is that we can use facilitates of the other Jebel Ali resort next door which has an infinity pool on the beach
Cons: More restaurants. Cleaner carpets - many spots were stained with a little old carpet smell. Room was a little small but could have been cleaner
Location: The dubai city is really far. We were there on Valentines day so we used the shuttle but it still took us an hour to get anywhere.
Really nice for a romantic get a way from Dubai shopping. Location is far from the city but its great to be on a beautiful private beach. The breakfast buffet was included which is vast. Beach is clean and has umbrellas and comfortable seating. Restaurants on the beach were okay fixed menu. Wish there were more restaurants in the hotel too.

Kids paradisePosted Aug 18, 2015
3 swimming pools to choose from and plenty of activities for kids in the resort. The club needs to revamp its facilities such as badminton court and table tennis.

Good resort outside the city.Posted Aug 18, 2015
Overall the facilities are plenty especially for families with kids. The club with all the fitness facilities needs improvements or replacement of machines. The court needs to also invest in new racquets and a new table tennis ball.

Bra avkoppling på "resort" ...Posted Aug 17, 2015
Bra hotell med olika aktiviteter, dock kunde man inte "spontant" göra vad man ville då det mesta måste bokas i förväg (även restaurang besök på hotell området). Maten helt ok men något dyrt.

Fantastic resort with lots to doPosted Aug 14, 2015
We could have stayed in just the resort, lots to do (all inclusive option is recommended - and suited us perfectly). Good choice of restaurants and decent quality of food. Nice range of pools (couldn't use all of them - but if you book the right hotel, loads to choose from). Key thing, we would go back!!! Keep up the good work. (loved the free shuttle bus around too...)
