Still good value for money but slipping...

I am giving it a 'Very Good' - I liked the courtesy water,morning paper, well-supplied toiletries, stationary, free wi-fi and the very friendly professional service and proximity to all (amenities, shops, metro), However, I am flagging that it is slipping from that standard.
I have tried on a couple of occasions to order a meal from room service to no avail. Granted, the first time was 1:00 a.m. but it wasn't very helpful arriving hungry and being told the kitchen is 'under maintenance'. The second attempt the next day I couldn't even get them to answer my 'phone.
The room was too cold - thermo not working properly - so I had to switch it off once it got too cold.
Other minor issues were that the remote was hard to operate.
