wanted a room with a view on top

Pros: the breakfast and the dinner menu
Cons: the cleaning crew should be more thorough
Location: this hotel was a bit out of the way from the malls and city area. each time a taxi took us back home it was a different charge with different drivers
the hotel is nice pleasant staff but I cannot say the same about the cleanliness since our room was not vacuumed for two days, our garbage bins were not emptied one day and we were missing hand towels in the bathroom for a day. it would've been nice if they provided bath robes in all the rooms too.

More of a business hotel

View was of a wall. Massage parlour next door and felt a bit uncomfortable going out at night. Shuttle bus was a god send and saved a fortune in taxis as away from the main attractions. Nice rooftop pool and staff were very friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and very cozy bed where you can sleep whole night like a baby

Bad facilities dirty I was disappointed and wish We didn't book our entire holiday there, rooms are dated. Furniture are old very uncomfortable sofa in rooms. My wife wished we didn't book mecure gold. Staff were amazing (James very helpful) all the staff were really good just the management policies are the problem. Pls upgrade your rooms and get real business going. Thank you

This is a 2 star hotel for Dubai

This hotel is not well located , it's practically in the Port. It is run down , the furniture in the reception was dirty and the public toilets smelt awful. We checked in and checked out immediately. This hotel is for those not wanting to experience Dubai. Dubai has some great , cheap 4 star hotels and this doesn't compare. Sorry I had to rate rooms as we didn't even go that far but this review wouldn't go through without ticking something. Stay away book a Novotel etc for similar money and much much better located.

The hotel was clean and tidy and all the staff were very professional. They had a decent choice on the menu which was available 24h a day. If you prefer eating out, you're spoilt for choice as there are lots of restaurants to chose from. Internet was also available for free, both in the lobby and in room. Good speed too. For me the location of the hotel was ok as I don't mind walking, but may not suit everyone. Taxis are plentiful right outside the hotel. They even put a free bus to different locations daily. The rooftop pool was a nice touch, but although I really enjoyed it up there, it could do with a makeover. Food and drinks are also available by the pool. I really enjoyed my eight days there and would go again.

Clean value hotel for Dubai

Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Shuttle bus going to more tourist destinations
Location: Supermarket next door for drinks, snacks and food, some decent restaurants nearby too
Hotel was good value for Dubai which offered free shuttle bus to malls and the beach all within 20 mins, would recommend if your on a budget in Dubai.

Nice stay which can be easily improve.

I spend juste one night there and it was good. All together a good stay, a very good breakfast, very helpful concierge and the free shuttle to Dubaï Mall was well organised, on time and very helpful. To be perfect a couple of small things could well be improved (light tobacco smell in a non-smoker room, the chocolate bars had been through some hot weather and I could see that, the labels in the room were not very "fresh"). It is too bad because those small things will stay in mind.

Nice hotel but far from metro

Location: The hotel is not too far from the local shopping area which has a lot of choice when it comes to food. The beach is not too far either.
Hotel staff were very friendly and were on hand when needed. The hotel was clean and presentable and was situated in good location but a bit far from the metro service, however there was shuttle service to the nearest metro. The lobby area is nice and clean and presentable too. The room was of good size and the bathroom was nice and clean - it was cleaned everyday. There is a local shop nearby if you want to buy anything to eat.
