Posted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels

Posted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels

Felt congested, no air ventilation in the room. Had to make few phone calls for room service.

Sleepless in DubaiPosted Mar 21, 2015 on Hotels
Do not stay at this hotel if you want to sleep at night!! There is a Disco nightclub next to the hotel which you can hear in the room until 3 am. A relentless thumping of music all through the night. Our complaint at the front desk put us into another room one floor up in a different location. We could still hear the thumping of music, although somewhat less. No apology, or compensation. The hotel is in a great location close to transit and across from a mall and supermarket. Breakfast is OK, but the noise factor is insufferable.

Dubai ExperiencePosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Freely helpful staff, clean rooms, good air conditioning, we have no complaints
Cons: Wine in the mini bar
The Regent Palace Hotel, is across the road from the Durraman shopping mall and the bus stop for the Big Bus city tours. A short walk to the metro rail also. Would recommend the afternoon tea at Burj Al Arab, the best meal we had in Dubai, you most book in advance. Burj Kalifah is a must, pay the extra and do the fast track if you hate to queue

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Somewhat noisyPosted Mar 2, 2015 on Hotels
Friendly staff and rooms are relatively clean. On booking form they didn't say when was the checking in time so i assumed it was 12:00 noon. When I came to the hotel at 10:30 I was told it was 4:00 pm. Reception staff was kind enough to hold my luggage and check me in around 2:00 pm, so it wasn't the greatest welcome to Dubai after an overnight 8 hour flight. Also requested a room far away from the night club.Instead was given a room on the 2nd floor, and was told it was not noisy. IT WAS! But overall alright value for money and good links to metro (2 mins away)

Kiemelkedően jó ár/érték arányPosted Feb 4, 2015 on Hotels
