The worst experience in my 63 years of existence on planet Earth.
Starting from getting into my suite, no electricity in my room. I tried all switches nothing worked. Went back to receptionist and informed him. He sent the technician to check. Apparently, they disconnected the whole electricity and A/C unit from the circuit breaker box. The technician was adamant that this is normal in whole the hotels in Dubai. You need to have technical skips to switch your room lights and Air condition unit.
For a suite with kichennete I was puzzled it lacked utensils. I requested a hot water kettle and some bottled water from the room services. They refuse to provide any. Management has instructed them not to provide it because of Covid-19. However they are happy to sell you the same from their restaurant. as if the virus distinguish bottled water from housekeeping and restaurant.
Moreover, their WIFI coverage in my room was terrible. Actually could not connect at all.
Finally, there were no towels or toiletries in the room. No hand towel no face towel only bath towel.
