I’ve stayed at The Ashling Hotel at least five times now, and it’s the hotel I plan to stay in every time I come to Dublin from here on out. The rooms are clean, the area is convenient. Phoenix Park is a short walk away- where you can see wild deer! The Dublin Zoo is inside the park as well. The train station connecting to other parts of Ireland is three minutes away by foot, and the tram is less than five minutes away by foot to easily transport you into town. (The tram is super convenient and inexpensive). One reason I really enjoy staying at The Ashling Hotel is the fantastic staff- they are incredibly pleasant, and go beyond what is expected in the hospitality business. I’m American, and though I always experience the famous Irish hospitality when I visit The Emerald Isle, The Ashling really lives up to that. One person who sticks out- Olha, was so helpful when I wanted to visit Howth. She gave me the easiest and least expensive route and gave additional excellent suggestions food scenery, hiking, food, etc. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay in, and I highly recommend it.

This hotel is a great option to the very central hotels. It is a nice 20 minute walk to O'Connell St or you can catch a tram right outside the hotel. The Guinness factory is just the other side of the Liffey and the beautiful Phoenix Park is 3 minute walk away. There are a few pubs close by also, but with a full bar and restaurant on-site, you don't need to go anywhere else if you don't wish to. The partking is right at the hotel but it is TIGHT to park. We had a Volvo SUV and we managed it but had to be very careful. Rooms are nice and clean and well-appointed. The hotel is VERY secure, with a doorman and key-card elevator access.

Nice hotel in fairly good location. About a 20 minute walk to the center of Dublin, but tram is available - 5 minute walk that takes you down to the center for 2 - 3 euros. Staff very nice, professional and helpful. Rooms are adequate size, a bit on the smaller size, but adequate, and nicely designed. Very comfortable stay.

Truly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and the location was exactly what we needed since we were traveling by train. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when traveling with the whole family (including a toddler). Breakfast was great and very convenient, too.
