"Hip and trendy vibe, modern hotel "
We were happy enough with the hotel. Rooms are on the small side but very nicely decorated and vey clean. Parking is free underneath the hotel and breakfast was good, they had a decent selection of hot and cold items. We bought a pass for breakfast from reception as apparently that's cheaper than paying each day. Location is ok, in a business area but 10 min walk from a tram stop which took about 20/30 mins to the centre of Dublin. Staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

"Super nice hotel in the city's center "
We stayed at The Brooks for two nights before our tour of Ireland and for one evening afterwards and both experiences were really great. The staff was courteous and helpful, our rooms were clean and comfortable, the wifi was strong, and their morning breakfast was great. You could have the continental - with fruit, yogurt, cheese, bread, and/or have a full hot breakfast. Both options were wonderful. And being so close, but not right in the middle of the action downtown, was perfect. I hope we make it back someday!

"Stayed twice but second visit not as nice"
Stayed here twice. I really feel like this is a hotel that tries to be something more than it is. The room we had the first visit was pretty good, however the second time we came they put us in a room that was made for people in wheelchairs. This means the bathroom amenities weren't as nice and the sink we very low. When you're over 6ft tall it makes using the sink difficult. I also noticed that there is no difference between twin beds and a king. Their headboard goes across the room and the beds slide and lock together. So for different prices you can get essentially the same thing. The only real difference is the sheets they put on the bed. This was disappointing to see. Also, because you have to leave a keycard in a slot for power in the room, if you wanted to leave something for charging while you're out, you can't take the key. So make sure you get two. Lastly, the restaurant service was pretty poor with unfriendly and inattentive staff. We went down one evening for deserts and drinks and they didn't want to seat us (because this was for people eating dinner). Dinner was over, it was late and there was no one there. The next night we went to actually eat there. They told us to go to the bar and get a drink while they get one ready (despite there being a table right in front ready to go. 30 minutes later we go to check in the table (since they made it sound like it would be just a few minutes) and we find out they forgot about us. They say us immediately and guess where?

"Verny nice hotel"
The rooms are very confortable and clean. I liked the location next to the train and with a walking distance to downtown, about 20-25 min. I did not eat their but lounge and restaurant are large and fresh.

"Great location "
Hotel was great location, so easy to walk to city centre. Staff was helpful with all of our questions. Breakfast was delicious. Only downfall was staff informed us upon arrival that because we booked a deal through Expedia it meant we were on the first floor above the night club which played music until 3:30am. It wasn't unbearable & they did provide ear plugs, but would've been nice to know beforehand.

"Charming and cozy home away from home. "
Upon arrival at the Roxford Lodge Hotel, my husband Dave and I were overjoyed with the quaint room. We stayed in room 106 which was fully equipped with a sauna, jacquzzi tub, and DVDs! We enjoyed a documentary on Dublin our first night there and loved discovering the sights the next day. The hotel is perfect walking distance from everything. We liked that it was far enough from the busy nightlife to get a good nights rest. Perfect little stay!
