Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted May 22, 2017
Clean, near to the airport, good value with regular shuttle services to the airport. Out of town if you are staying longer than a day or two. Restaurants are busy with party bookings which makes it noisy with children running around, should have quite area for the dinners I would stay there again on short trips

Close to Airport

Posted May 22, 2017
The dining experience was terrible. They give the impression of fine dining and everything holds until the food cones out. Fish was sent back cold. The medium Medallions of beef were served blood rare. The bowl of root vegetables had more vegetables on sides of bowl than in the bowl. Portions re cooked separately. A little like eating alone. Did I mention entertainment? The six year old Birthday party in next room war cute but drowned out any conversation.

Good choice

Posted May 21, 2017
Pros: Location to airport, yet soundproof rooms. Beds were comfortable and possibly our best sleep of the previous 10 days.
Cons: Hotels use duvets yet most people find those TOO HOT to sleep with. Recommend placing sheets & blankets in the room as an alternative.
Location: 20 minutes outside heart of Dublin so easy to access sights and pubs.
We chose a hotel that looked nice and was not over priced. We felt the Clayton exceeded our expectations by being upscale, very clean, attractive, near the airport yet soundproof. Staff were friendly and helpful and we would recommend our friends stay here. The glass elevator is a nice touch!

Close to the airport, not necessarily walkable but the consistent hotel bus that goes to the airport terminals is great.

Airport shuttle service was efficient. Restaurant was decent though very crowded and noisy with private events the night we stayed.

Overpriced hotel with everything as an add on fee

We ate in the restaurant and the pub. Both meals were very poor. Only 3 electric outlets in a room that slept 4. You could rent a powerstrip.

Lovely place to stay

Posted May 17, 2017
Pros: The rooms, the restaurant, the staff and the location
Cons: In the restaurant and bar area a couple of good options for vegetarians.
I visit family in Cork several times a year and always stay at the Clayton hotel at the Dublin airport the night before departing on a morning flight to the states. It is so convenient. The staff are professional and friendly, the food in the restaurant is good and the rooms are exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable.

Airport hotel - comfortable suite

Posted May 17, 2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Shuttle bus arriving at DUB driver loaded all our luggage without being asked. Driver leaving hotel sat on his cell not helping a bunch of elderly.
We stayed in one of the large suites - HUGE room, big screen TV, huge bathroom, all very comfortable. They do have a very heavy door to the bathroom that shuts itself - it must be a fire door - which really bothered me because every time I wanted to put something in the bathroom I had to pull it open and then it shut immediately behind me. I'm small and arthritis in my hands, it was a chore. Giant, very comfortable lobby with a nice little sort of bakery/snack shop which was great for taking a snack up to the room. The lobby did look as if it needed a cleaning, chairs/floor had crumbs, smudges... didin't like that.

Pleasant

Difficult to find. Traffic and directions confusing. Hotel looks good. Check in good. Room very comfortable. Remember no A/C in Ireland so it was a warmer room than normal due to pleasant weather. Portable fan provided and needed. Dinner was very disappointing. Low point of the stay
