Hotel algo dejadoPosted Aug 26, 2015

Sporco e fatiscentePosted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
Struttura fatiscente e sporca. Personale inesistente.

Bella struttura esterna

We stayed in August and so were surprised that the heating stayed on all night( and there was no means of turning off the radiator) . This seemed bad because it meant the window had to stay open, maximising traffic noise which would have been moderate through glass. It turned out to be good, because it was warm enough to sleep on top of the duvet to cushion ourselves from the bed springs! On the up side it was one of very few hotels in Dublin to welcome dogs and was right next to some fantastic walks in Phoenix Park. The only member of staff we saw was very pleasant.

Not a hotel!!Posted Aug 10, 2015 on Hotels
This is not a hotel. It is a B&B. The door to the B&B was locked when we arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon. Another guest heard the doorbell ringing and let us in. We waited about 20 minutes before an employee showed up. The room was tiny the walls were paper thin.

TerriblePosted Jul 29, 2015 on Hotels
Ours was a terrible experience! It began with no address being provided, only a street name. Our GPS was just as confused as we were. After finding the place we are checked in and handed our key. Our room was a cramped space with 2 single beds situated so that they were toe to toe, kitty corner from each other. There was a small 12" TV provided but because of the way the beds were, only one person could watch. The TV sat on the dresser with also has on it some tea and instant coffee along with an electric kettle. The problem there was that there was no plug for the kettle so we had to move it to rest on the floor at the food of one of the beds. The dresser top was still so filled up with stuff from the hotel (except sugar, there was none of that), that none of our stuff would fit. Between feeling the springs in the old mattress all night and listening to the guy in the room next to ours snore through the paper-thin walls, I got very little sleep. The shower had very little pressure to it and the toilet had trouble flushing. I felt like I was in Honduras in a $15 a night room rather than outside of Dublin in a $115 dollar a night room! There was no one there to check us out (there is no front desk at all) so we just left. NEVER to return!
