Wonderfully located in city centre. Walking distance to Grand Canal, Temple Bar, dozens of major tourist attractions. Five minute walk to major bus tour starting points. Hotel itself is very clean; rooms smelled fresh and staff was very helpful. Two minute walk to grocery stores.
We wanted to stay away from the city center. This is a fairly new hotel right by the light rail system-LUAS. We took the LUAS downtown Dublin-easy to use. There is also a shopping mall across the street. There is a bar and restaurant on site-we ate there one night-good The only hard part was locating ...
The first greeting to a weary traveler is the manicured grounds that offer a posh park setting to enjoy from a terrace or stroll. Immediately you get the feeling that the best in creature comforts awaits. You won't be disappointed. Our room was elegantly appointed and the staff was cordial and attentive. ...
Nice room, staff, Enormous hotel but very good quick check in and out. Definitely use if you have an early morning flight out of Dublin. They don't have shuttle service to the international terminal 2. So you do need a cab to that terminal when leaving hotel
friendly house keepers but unfortunately rest of the staff not so much. Being a massive hotel you'd think door staff would be smiley and happier then house keepers, the room was very clean, 10 out of 10. But the bed was like a park bench...the tv we couldn't get the movies and half channels didn't ...
First impression was that I had arrived in student digs but the apartment was quiet, clean and had added extras such as dish washer and washing machine. The beds were comfy and the location was very good as it was close to walk to Temple Bar I stayed with grown up family and it met ours needs. Staff ...
Awesome hotel! Right next to the tram station to take you into town. Restaurant inside has great food! They also set us up for day trip out to the countryside which where cheap and absolutely amazing!! Very nice rooms although no manual a/c to make it super cold (which i like) otherwise very comfortable ...
A two day stay at the end of a week touring southern Ireland. A lovely hotel with very good facilities, pool and sauna/steam room. I can recommend the massages, excellent masseuse and a good price. Only downside was a wedding on the Saturday night with guests that insisted on shouting at the top ...
The staff is very responsive and helpful. They really are service oriented. Everything is very clean and in good repair. Weak and slow WiFi would be my only concern.
We have stayed at the Clayton Hotel on 4 occasions and the only issue we have is that the cooked food at breakfast is not hot enough, which spoils the breakfast totally-everything else is very good. I again mentioned this to the reception staff-hopefully they will take our comments on board!!
This hotel had a lot going for it. Overall our experience was pleasing, The staff is wonderful. One of our connecting flights was late and we missed our flight to Dublin. Expedia was great and contacted the hotel for us and they held our room. Since it was prepaid, I wasn't surprised by that. It's ...
The reception clerk provided excellent information on how to use the bus system. The room was up to date. The bed was comfortable. Music in the bar on the weekend was very enjoyable.
Chose this hotel on price and proximity to city centre. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Airport bus stops very close. Excellent breakfast. Can recommend
Really nice hotel and not far from all the places we wanted to visit like the Guinness factory, zoo etc. Room was really nice and bed really comfortable. Ice making machine on 2 floors in case you wanted ice cold water which was free too. Breakfast was reasonably priced and the full Irish was always ...
