Pros: location
Cons: price is high for what you get
Location: on the canal, 15 minute walk to downtown - use the tram- the station is right there
good location, not the easiest to find. ask for a room away from the tram line use the tram to downtown use the Red Bus to see Dublin

Excellent 3 night stay.

Posted Oct 18, 2016
Location: Location in South of Dublin at the side of a canal- access is a 10-20 minute walk to the centre, Ranelagh or Ballsbridge (Aviva stadium).
Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is excellent for its location, facilities provided and the staff. Check-in was efficient and quick - we must mention Lisa on the front desk in reception who was extremely helpful and always cheerful. The room was on the fifth floor with a canal view and was comfortable, clean and a good size. The bed was particularly comfortable. We had breakfast on one morning and this was excellent with a good range of products and all well prepared. We had lunch in the bar on arrival and this was really enjoyable. The bar itself is popular with enough seats to either mix with guests or remain private. The location of the hotel was ideal for us as we had to meet friends in the Ballsbridge area (20minute walk). Going in the other direction the centre of Dublin is an easy 10 minute walk (Grafton Street). Also a 10 minute walk is Ranelagh which is good for restaurants and cafes. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel. Overall the hotel is in a quiet area but with ready access to bars, restaurants and cafes.

Efficient, clean and cheery

Just off the centre of Dublin, it's a quieter area. On two stops on the tram or a 20 min walk into Stephen's Green.

Clean and comfortable hotel!

Posted Sep 20, 2016
Pros: Extremely helpful/friendly Bar/Restaurant staff.
Location: Within reasonable walking distance of The Spire, variiety of shops, restaurants, Guinness Storehouse, Teelings Whiskey Distillery etc.
Good location - within walking distance of everything we needed but far enough away from possible noisy parts! Excellent bar/restaurant and breakfast staff. Female receptionists were lovely and friendly/helpful. Would stay again.

Overpriced hotel far from downtown

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Many taxis in front. Reception staff courteous. Newspapers available in breakfast room.
Cons: Lower price to the 75-85 Euro range. As the steep prices are not warranted by the location and the quality of the rooms.
Location: The hotel is located on a canal, not much to do in near proximity. One typical Irish pub close.
Room had the view of a prison room, only on the windows on a inner court. Room very utilitarian. Little taste in decorating, except a 3.95 Euro bottle of water that stood out. Carpet very dirty. Breakfast had a wide range of items. But the products were not top quality. M & S offers better quality Irish cheeses, Fruits were mostly canned. Hotel relatively far from downtown Dublin, no public transportation available; need to take a taxi anywhere. About 9-10 euro each ride. Quite noisy because of weddings.

Hotel udenfor centrum.

Hotellet er fint, men slidt og ikke hvad man forventer af et Hilton hotel. Men fin service og god morgenmad.
