Nice hotel close to Embassies and nice hotel.Posted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: I like nice breakfast and kindness of the staff
I arrived in the morning and left bags and went out for the sightseeing in the Dublin city by the Hop on and Hop off bus. When I came back my rooms were ready and bags were in my room.

Comfort for a short visitPosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: I would commend the bed. The mattress was very firm without being hard and the linen was super white - two excellent nights' sleep.
Cons: I would like to have adjusted the hue of the TV screen.
The hotel is half an hour by taxi from the airport and a little way out of Dublin centre to the south. Taxis are, however, plentiful and moderately charged. The welcome at the hotel was efficient, friendly and helpful. I was struck by the suitably international flavour of the staff. Room service (for dinner) worked well, as did the now standard buffet breakfast. My room was large and light with full height windows, furnished un-fussily in traditional style. I was very happy to sink into a comfortable armchair in my room to recover from my journey!

Fantastic hotel. World Class!Posted Sep 3, 2015
Overall stay was excellent. Great staff , love the spa experience and facilities and the hotel was the best ever- they will really go the extra mile they gave us a very beautiful room- as they gave consideration that we have a child with us plus because we have a night flight they agree with our request for late check out.Highly recommended! We will go back definitely! Worth the experience our son don' t want to check out anymore😄

Understated LuxuryPosted Sep 2, 2015
An absolutely beautiful hotel and only a 20 minute walk into Central Dublin. The staff were lovely, polite and engaging but not too intrusive. Our room was huge with nice views out to the sea. It was comfortable with a massive bed and all in room amenities provided - including proper China mugs for beverages. In fact all food in the restaurants was served on fine China. We'll definitely return here.

Perfect spot in quiet Dublin locationPosted Sep 2, 2015
Beautiful hotel in gorgeous section of Dublin, close to US Embassy. Plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Excellent accommodations and service. The lobby was lovely and the rooms were surprisingly large.

Dublin hotelPosted Aug 27, 2015
Very nice hotel with an attentive staff. The only problems were a booking issue with the spa and the bathroom could have been cleaned better (pubic hair on toilet seat & dirty sink).

A hotel that lives up to it's ratingPosted Aug 24, 2015
Wouldn't normally stay in hotel of this standard but with offer that was available glad I booked it. A little bit out of Dublin but still easy to get to by public transport. Staff that we came across were very helpful. Did not eat there partly due to cost. Very impressed by facilities in the room.

Nice hotel in Ballsbridge areaPosted Aug 24, 2015
This hotel was purchased from Four Seasons, didn't stay there when owned by FS so can't compare. The hotel lobby area, sitting areas, bar, restaurant and breakfast room were all well appointed. The first person you meet on arrival if driving is one of the fellows who helps with your car and he was great, directed me where to park and pointed out that self parking was about 20 feet away from valet parking, so it was an easy choice and savings. Some have commented the hotel is somewhat out of the way, I suppose it would be a 10 Euro or less cab ride up into Temple Bar/Trinity College area but plenty of decent restaurants and pubs within walking distance. It is a very spacious hotel so you have a feeling of lots of room unlike some of the other properties. The Herbert Park hotel as an example is maybe 2-300 metres closer to town so its not like the Intercontinental is that far out of the way. Just a little trouble with the GPS locating the hotel entrance, but once located that was all fine. Definitely would return. Very nice breakfast in the morning, would recommend taking that as part of the hotel reservation.
