Little sleepPosted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: The location close to the city to walk to, but yet far enough out to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Cons: Perhaps have reception covered until the restaurant closes, so that if their is noise reception can address it.
Location: We enjoyed the river cruise, the tour of Jeanie Johnston and it was all within walking distance from the apartment
Our apartment was situated above a restaurant and it was extremely noisy, despite being told the restaurant had a 11pm curfew it went on till pass midnight - no one on reception after 9.30pm Unfortunately this spoilt our stay and would not stay again - Restaurant staff also gathered just outside below our window on there break chatting away. I think one should be made aware of this as this has apparently happened to previous guest when we complained for a second time the morning before checking out.

Cons: Better self catering facilities - pots/pans/etc. Also, a bit more expensive than I had hoped to find.
Location: close to stores, pubs and parks

Nice quick stayPosted Aug 25, 2015
I arrived in the early afternoon and found the place easily. The receptionist was very welcoming. She showed me my room and how to operate the building entrance (which uses a code, not a key). Overall it was a good stay.

Couldn't be happier!Posted Aug 13, 2015 on Hotels
It was more than we expected. We loved the kitchen area. Very handy indeed. Staff were very friendly. Even when we checked out and came back for our bags later, they let us use another room to freshen up before our taxi arrived! We will definitely be staying here again!

Downtown hotel!Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Location and amenities available
Latchford's Apartments was a great hotel for our one night stay in Dublin. The hotel is in walking distance to the downtown area and other attractions. We were in the back 'Mews' part of the hotel, so not in the main central building, but we had no concerns with this (it did not feel unsafe to us at all as another reviewer mentioned). We could hear some creaking and voices from the room above us, but overall this was not an issue for us. We found the room to be quiet and no disturbances during the night - which is great for a downtown hotel! The room had great amenities and would be a good option for those staying for more than a couple days in order to be able to cook some meals and save money!

Very nice apartmentsPosted Jul 11, 2015
We stayed in one of the self catering apartments, and I would have liked it more if I could've connected to the wifi. I need it for work, so it's frustrating when it cuts out or isn't strong enough for me to connect to. Otherwise the room was very nice, a very comfy bed, and a full (tiny) kitchen for anything you could need. The TV also seemed to be on the fritz, as it would turn on but nothing really ever happened except a menu that was in Russian. Quite odd!
