Hotel for flights out of Dublin

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: clean, helpful staff
Cons: don't rent out the small dingy rooms on lower floor.
Location: Dublin Airport not much to do near by, had to get on bus for downtown.
stayed twice for our trip, once when we got to Dublin and once to stay over and catch flight home. First stay.(Terrible) Room was very small on ground floor. My wife and I had to coordinate our moving about the room as we could both not get by the bed at the same time......room was no more than 12' x 12' . Luckily we were tired and really didn't care until at three in the mmorning there were people outside our room talking. Second stay.(Pleasing) room on third floor. much nicer, a lot bigger and better bathroom. Staff was excellent, driver for airport very helpful.

In airport

Posted Jul 24, 2015
It was ok, rooms were small and no breakfast was included. I think this is the only hotel in Ireland that charged for breakfast- 10 euro. Had a good stir fry in bar. I chose Radisson Blu which is also in the airport

Airport hotel but easy access to city

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Good check-in, accommodating staff who put perishables for me in a fridge overnight (many hotels won't do this). About 7 mins. walk from T2, 8-9 from T1. Just go downstairs, cross the road, turn right and keep going round the bend (as it were) until you see the hotel on your left. The airlink bus from T2 will take you into Dublin and back for 10 Euros, and runs late into the evening. You can check in for your flight on many airlines in the hotel lobby.

A Good Place to Stay Before an Early Flight

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: It was clean, quiet, and close to where we wanted to be.
We came to the Maldron Airport after an exhausting final day of our Ireland tour. Be sure to set your gps for the airport version of Maldron hotels or you may be in for a rude surprise. Yep, that's what we did. Upon arrival we entered an airy futuristic lobby that was as clean as it was large. The main restaurant occupies a part of this open space and, for our taste, it wasn't a plus. The staff we dealt with were pleasant and professional.. The room was clean and remarkably quiet given how close we were to the airport terminals. The shuttle service runs on the half hour and is very quick. A healthy person could walk it if necessary. The wake up call came as requested and the shuttle was ready to go as advertised. We feel like we got our money's worth.

Airport Hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Restaurant speed of service.
Location: Only worth staying in if your flying out of Dublin Airport. If your staying in Dublin the Maldron Cardiff Lane is far better for the City.
A conveniently located Airport Hotel if you are flying from Dublin Airport.

Comfortable hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Very convenient to airport with courtesy transport
Cons: Free Parking would be an added bonus.
Location: Just used as overnight stop for early flight.
We stayed at the Dublin Airport Maldron hotel for one night as we were catching an early flight to Venice the following morning. We the room very clean and comfortable. The staff at reception attended to us promptly and efficiently. As we did not dine at the hotel due to the fact that we had to check out so early so cannot comment on breakfast.

Lovely hotel, very clean

Posted Jun 22, 2015
The Maldron Hotel staff were very welcoming, rooms were clean. The hotel is located within a short walk from the airport. However, a free shuttle service is provided by the hotel. The bus stop is located close to the hotel and it is a 30 minute bus ride to O'Connel St. Overall a pleasing stay and I would stay again. Thank you
