Great hotel, friendly staff

Posted Jan 23, 2016
The hotel was perfect. We got an early checkin to rest up after the flight. The room was fairly big, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. Hotel staff helped recommend fun tours and the hotel was close to Grafton Street so walking to many sites was easy. The food was good in the pub too.

Warm-hearted service in the heart of Dublin

Posted Jan 16, 2016
Location: St Stephen's Green is right outside the door, Grafton Street shopping a 5-minute walk, and of course no shortage of great food and pubs
I was in Dublin for business and the client recommended this hotel. I found the service to be fantastic, from check in to getting help finding an ATM to coordinating cabs to the client site and the airport. The room was large and well equipped. Plenty of room to sit and work, relax, and sufficient access to power for my digital tools. I slept very well in a very comfortable bed. The restaurant served a good breakfast, too, with satisfactory continental options.

Gut gelegenes Hotel in Zentrumnähe

Posted Jan 8, 2016
Pros: S.o.
Cons: Das Hotel wirkt ein wenig angestaubt, besser gesagt, nicht ganz so stylisch im Eingangsbereich, in den Fluren und in den Zimmern. Aber kein Problem.
Location: Zentral gelegen.

Brilliant Location

Posted Jan 6, 2016
Pros: Everything was excellent - rooms, breakfast, staff......
Cons: Err, can't think of anything........
Location: Excellent location, right on the edge of the main shopping area.........
Five mins from Grafton Street, and just a short walk to Temple Bar and many of the main Dublin attractions. The tram stops just around the corner, and the Stephens Green is probably lovely in the summer - it was a bit damp in January! We would definitely stay here again........

Great hotel & location

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Pros: Bed was great, shower was amazing, free newspaper outside your door in the morning.
Cons: The downstairs bar was a little pricey and the Guinness was not good.
Location: Loved having the luas right outside and it was handy to have the buses (including airport shuttles) a 3 minute walk away on Lwr Leeson Street.
We had a great stay at O'Callaghan's! I lived in Dublin for a few years and was thrilled to get the location & quality of a room for the price. Bed was great, shower was amazing and there was a sound system for the TV in the bathroom (at first seemed a bit unnecessary but turned out to be a great perk).

Convenient, friendly hotel

Posted Jan 3, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, price (as we booked early and got a good deal which included a lovely breakfast)
Cons: Being picky but the bathroom needed attention.
Location: Convenient - we got the airport bus and walked up Grafton Street.
Warm welcome after a very early flight from East Midlands. Appreciated tea and croissants after we had dropped off our bag. Very convenient for shopping, Temple Bar, sightseeing and for us the New Year street party which was literally outside (but couldn't be heard from the room). Dublin is making a real effort for New Year visitors.

Great location

Wonderfully located hotel, just a short walk from the top of Grafton Street. Close enough to be near the shops and pubs, but enough distance from them for it to be quiet.

Good location...very convenient to the city center

Posted Dec 23, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: Right off St. Stephen's Green with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
I thought the hotel was good value for money. Other than the location, nothing was exceptional and nothing was very bad. The staff and check-in process was efficient and easy and the room was bright and clean. The TV situation was not the best (dodgy remote, small TV) but I was delighted that the window could be opened in the room (not always a given in hotels) - even though there was no view whatsoever. My only other comment was that they bar/restaurant is virtually devoid of atmosphere and really could use an upgrade on the menu.
