The staff was very helpful especially Austin. He was great. He even went out of his way to find us electrical adapters after ours turned out to be for the EU only. This was a three trip process, but he did not give up. FYI you will need the three rectangular pronged one, not the two round prong variety for Ireland. There was a small issue with our door handle breaking, but the staff upgraded our room, without hesitation, for the inconvenience. Even the cabbies were helpful. One tipped us off about a beautiful little fishing village close by, Malahide. It was so lovely we went back again on our return trip home. Being located so close to the airport made it easy to drop our bags and go have fun.

Little unhelpful at the beginning

Asked could I book a room using my mother's credit card, the receptionist told me it was possible and that all they needed was confirmation. Until another receptionist intervened and said that wasn't their policy and refused to continue the booking.

Only one towel?!

Why would the hotel give only one bath towel in a room when there were two of us! And the pillows felt like little flattened sacks of sand. Otherwise, the room was very clean and the front desk folks were friendly, polite and helpful. We also very much appreciated the airport shuttle service which ran every 15 minutes.

Over-all review

Water temperature fluctuates significantly in the shower. The shower door leaks and was rusty. The hair dryer was very old and the holder was screwed into a dresser! It was however very clean and comfortable. The service to and from the airport was great and the service was fantastic!

Comvenient for layovers

It's difficilt to find an affordable hotel located near the airport that doesn't require a lot of fuss to catch an early morning flight. This hotel is at least close to the airport and the shuttle service is excellent. One could even walk to the terminal if they felt like it, I suppose. I also like the proximity to the McDonald's restaurant, as I hadn't much money left for food after paying for a night at this place. Of course, all hotels in Dublin are expensive, so this one is no different. The residual smell of cigarettes in my room was off-puting, but I was to tired to bother asking for another room. All in all, I'd stay here again if forced to travel through Dublin, but trying to avoid Dublin due to the high costs of hotels there.

Great room snd bed was comfy. Shuttle service was nice, but hotel is a walkable distance.

2 glasses in room different sizes. Only 1 saucer, the second cup was on a bread and butter plate. No rubber mat in the bathroom. Although had a sign available on request, which is ludicrous. For a brand name Hotel we were disappointed considering the cost of accommodation
