Brilliant stay

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Brilliant hotel doesn't look much from the outside but it's very secure with a member off staff at the desk 24/7 to open the door to quests only. Each floor is your own with lift access or by stairs. Room was very spacious, there was 5 of us with plenty of room, the only thing I would stay we needed another toilet would of helped. We were on the 4th floor with two bedrooms. If I stayed again I would want to be highest as possible as the noise from the drunks in the morning is really loud on both nights. The doors on the outside are really thin. Overall nice place to stay with great shops and restaurants right outside.

This is a 2.5 star accommodation not a 4 as rated

Posted Dec 14, 2016
This was a disappointment. First off, the configuration was awkward so if I needed anything for the hotel staff I had to put a coat on and walk across a courtyard. My apartment was over a bar and was loud all night! There was no daily housekeeping so things like coffee needed to be asked for. Even when asked for coffee to be placed in the room, when I returned it had not been done, had to go get it myself. For the price, I would stay elsewhere. Also, heat didn't work. Had to go out and get someone to look at it.

Great mini birthday break

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Pros: The location and friendly staff. My wife couldn't make the trip due to a beverament and the staff were very helpful. Tanya on reception had great advice on restaurant choices and the local area. I had a lovely stay.
Cons: I was really happy with everything. I would definitely recommend and return.
Location: Very central new millennium bridge, temple bar and the metro.

Great Centre City Location

Posted Oct 8, 2016
Pros: The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The apartment had separate bedroom, full kitchen. Furnishings adequate.
Cons: Close to other buildings so noisy into the night. Restaurant below our room, so you'd hear them set up tables each morning. Not sure about other rooms
Location: Active location. Foot traffic and activity throughout the night. Most of the tourist attractions you can walk to. Or you can take bus.
Only a five minute walk to either O'Connell Street or Temple Bar areas. Close access to airport, public, or tour transportation.

for city centre stays

Posted Sep 23, 2016 on Hotels
i have stayed in 5 different apartments on 5 different occasions for work this year. the apartments are right beside an awesome burrito bar. great location right across the bridge from temple bar. jervis street car park is best for parking. costs me on average €14ish overnight. 1 bedroom apartments with sofabed are comfortable with nice bathroom. 2 bedroom felt a bit worn and sofabed did not open up. a great location but was a bit noisy on a few of my stays (due to being so central) front of house staff always very helpful and friendly.

Millenium Walk StayApartments Dublin

Pros: Location so central. Cafes, pubs at the door. Close to Temple Bar. Washing machine.
Cons: Dryer not working. Our apartment got a lot of pedestrian noise after hours. As the were coming home from night out
Location: Just across bridge to Temple Bar. Cafes and pubs below apartments,
Great location. Easy walking to the "interesting" tourist localities. Great helpful staff. Our apartment on corner of pedestrian mall and street.

Spacious but noisy.

Posted Sep 18, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel itself was nice enough and in a convenient area. However, since travelling for work, I needed decent wifi. It was incredibly slow and unreliable. Additionally a good nights sleep was essential. I was woken in the middle of the night by screaming from the street below every night. I wouldn't stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm happy to see that you have enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartments. Disappointing, of course, to find that the room has been noisy. We do take every effort to reduce this on property, though we are located very centrally which I hope you can appreciate. We do have rooms available on higher floors which you may find more suitable in future. With thanks and kind regards, Jamie Trousdale

Great if you don't need to sleep

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Clean.
Cons: See above.
Location: Wonderful neighborhood.
This facility is probably ok for the right situation, like roommates sharing a place, but for vacation travelers it is not recommended. Our room was on floor 1 right above the street restaurants and it was incredibly bright and loud on a friday night until very late into the morning and still had people passing by all night long waking us up. Windows were tightly closed and shades drawn but still very very loud and incredibly bright. A water tank in the hall closet would make noise every 1/2 hour or so, perhaps when someone in the building used water. Woke me up every time. Interior patio looked like a slum. Beds were hard and all of the pillows were the same: very thick and hard. No drawers to put clothes in, just 5 hangers provided. No bedside light in one room. Not worth the high cost.

Thank you for your recent feedback. I'm incredibly disappointed that you have left with such a poor image of Staycity. We are located very centrally which does attract a certain level of passing street noise which sadly we cannot avoid. Templebar is renowned worldwide for its vibrancy and we are very much in the heart of the action which adds to our popularity. That said, we do have rooms on higher floors which are less likely to be affected and perhaps we need to commence allocating rooms more effectively. Once again, please accept our apologies. Kind Regards, Jamie Trousdale
