Pros: Central location with friendly and professional staff
Cons: Larger tables for breakfast
Location: Gaiety theatre, Hugo restaurant, city bus tour
Cliff Townhouse has a very central position in Dublin located on St. Stephens Green. A most covienient place to catch the city tour with a bus stop just outside. I found the staff most welcoming. The breakfasts, pre theatre and Sunday lunch were reasonably priced, well prepared and truly scrumptious. If you want to visit a theatre the Gaitey is just round the corner and we were fortunate to see Riverdance. As many have mentioned there is no lift beyond the second floor so be prepared to climb steps.

Tolles authentisches Hotel in bester LagePosted Apr 1, 2015
Sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Beim nächsten Dublinbesuch auf jeden Fall wieder unsere erste Wahl!

We look forward to returningPosted Nov 16, 2014 on Hotels
We were only at the Cliff Townhouse for one night prior to an early flight home after 10 wonderful days of driving around Ireland and visiting / celebrating with family. We've stayed in Dublin many times before, but like to try different hotels based on recommendations or research. We chose the Cliff Townhouse based on reviews, the location we desired and cost. Although our stay was not "perfect", the Staff and Management of the Cliff Townhouse immediately, professionally and cheerfully addressed any concern to our absolute satisfaction. The rooms were clean, comfortable and absolutely charming with a fireplace. The next time we visit Dublin, we plan to stay at the Cliff Townhouse and, hopefully have a chance to dine at the restaurant.
