2 nightclub facing Trinity College, 2 rooms 2 worl

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Molto vicino a tutte le posizioni..
Cons: Hot Water

Fantastic!

Posted Aug 19, 2015
The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We stayed with our toddler in the junior suite and I even visited the amazing Dawson Spa in the building on the 2nd floor. Exceeded expectation of a hotel in a historical building!

Sleepless nights

Posted Aug 18, 2015
The hotel's location is ideal, however, if you are staying on a weekend be prepared for constant noise until about 4 AM from the bar/club downstairs. Even on a Sunday evening there was a lot of noise from the street since we had to keep our window open to get any air movement at all. In the morning, street cleanup begins by 8 AM with the sound of thousands of glass bottles being shattered and swept away. This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice and all was clean. Furniture was old and beat-up looking. Layout of the hotel was extremely awkward: our room was in the second floor at the back of the building, but we had to go up three floors and down half a story to get there. The lift was of no use as we would have had to go around the block or through almost the entire hotel to get to it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: show guests where the lift is. stop cigarette smoke
Location: city centre. plenty to so and see

Needs alot of attention (mainly the room)

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Pleasant staff, the hotel however needs alot of attention especially the rooms. The shower leaked, toilet smelt of urine, light bulb missing from mirror light, wardrobe shabby, curtain hold back hook falling off, damp patch on ceiling, brick wall 3 foot from window. All lighting incredibly dim. Most things could be sorted with some good maintainance, but feel its ignored as if they jusy are not bothered. Nothing like pics on the web site. Shame, could be lovely.

Ruhiges Hotel direkt in Dublin

Posted Aug 8, 2015

Pros: Location was why I picked this hotel. The size and comfort of the room is why I enjoyed it so much.
Cons: The bouncer for the bar to get to the hotel elevator wouldn't let me in since I was wearing shorts. I then showed my key card and was allowed in.
Location: Within a block of many things we wanted to do in Dublin and has the airport shuttle and hop on/off bus stops nearby.
The hotel staff are very kind and accommodating. The room is quite ornate and very comfortable. The elevator to the room is through the bar which is closed during the day. One night when we returned to the hotel, we were going to go through the bar to use the elevator, but the bouncer stopped me saying I wasn't allowed in since I was wearing shorts (in the summer). I said we were using the elevator and showed the room key and then he allowed us in. This snooty attitude is why I did not and would not lounge in that bar. Being a bar at a hotel spa, I would think they would cater to people who are more laid back and want to relax, not require a suit to drink a pint.

Beware of Vibrant Room Offers

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Excellent hotel and location but we booked Vibrant Rooms which were too noisy on Thursday thru Saturdat due to the noise from the club under the hotel. I do not recall seeing a warning on the Expedia site.
