Convenient for concerts and conventions

Posted Jun 7, 2017
The hotel is located in a very new part of the city near the former docks. Construction cranes everywhere and not a historical sight within view (you could just as easily be in Dallas as Dublin) so for historical charm this is not the part of town or the hotel for you. But it's super convenient for attending concert at the 3Arena across the street or conventions at the Dublin CC for sure. The hotel is modern with spacious, quiet and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and the red line tram starts just outside the door, making Temple Bar, Trinity College, etc easily accessible for just 2-3 euros per trip. There's a nice Spar one block away and a Starbucks downstairs; otherwise, this is a neighborhood to sleep in and not to dine in!

Dear Steve, Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your stay. I'm delighted to see that you found the hotel so comfortable and the staff friendly. The Luas is very convenient for going into the city centre and I am happy to see you found it east to use. Hopefully we will have another opportunity to welcome you back in the future, perhaps when there are less works going on and more facilities in the area. Kind regards, Clare

Great hotel staff; very knowledgeable and helpful.

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast, spacious room
Cons: The air conditioning/fan system. The room often seemed uncomfortably warm and stuffy
Location: Great location by the tram system, which is very easy to use
The location is perfect. The tram system is literally a 20 second walk from the front door, which connects you to all the major downtown Dublin sites. Breakfast was nice, but the room always seemed a bit too warm and the temperature control didn't cool it down any. Not sure if it was broken, or that's just Irish A/C

Location: Perfect for the 3 arena or o'connell st shopping
Delighted with the luas at the front door, staff were very efficient and friendly and the location was perfect. Restaurant menu had too little choice but the food was good.

Clean hotel, excellent placement

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, clean and comfy
Location: It's location is by the docks development, but this does not cause any problems, in fact it's directly on the tram route to the city centre?
Clean and friendly hotel, very well placed to travel around, easy access to city centre.

Nice hotel but location is not great

Posted May 29, 2017
Very nice hotel just few minor things. Location isn't great and no amenities near it other than Starbucks. Also breakfast is horridly over priced for a buffet.

nice hotel, but hot and far from town

Posted May 28, 2017
The hotel was a nice, spacious business hotel. When we got there, the staff was very unfriendly. Also, the rooms were so hot to the point where we could barely sleep and were sweating all night. In addition, the hotel is extremely far away from downtown Dublin. I wouldn't suggest this for anyone traveling to Dublin and wanting to be in the heart of the city.

Close to Transit

Posted May 23, 2017
The hotel is in an area that is being developed. The train stops right out front. If you like walking, it is very easy to get to many of the downtown sights on foot.

Spotlessly clean, directly across from 3arena

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: So clean!
Cons: Provide bathrobes and more milk and tea bags, socket to charge phone on either side of bed would be useful and a mirror over desk to dry hair.
Location: directly across from 3arena and The Point Luas stop is right outside the door of the hotel.
Lovely comfortable clean spacious hotel in the perfect location for anybody attending the 3arena

Nice hotel -some noise from local building works

Posted May 19, 2017
Pros: mostly everything.
Cons: perhaps would rather not have window through to the bathroom.
Location: bit noisy. building work outside. but if you like walking -its good
Stayed for one night-hotel staff and greeting was excellent. Car parking is not free- its a multi storey attached to the hotel. At time of writing 14 euros for overnight stay parking. breakfast was not included -so additional cost but I didn't mind paying this as the breakfast was very good. I was really impressed by the care taken for Coeliacs or any others requiring a gluten free breakfast- all kept separate from contaminants-separate toaster if required - cereals , and also gluten free cakes. fabulous :) fresh fruit too I would definitely return to this hotel.
