I picked this hotel for location and it's quirkiness. There are a few signature pieces but that is it. The room was hot and we had to open the window as there was no A/c to hear alarms going off all night. The room was very basic as was the bathroom. In my eyes not a four star hotel. On the plus side a good location for temple bar

Great hotel right in the heart of Dublin"s busy temple bar area. Very trendy, modern rooms, bar etc but still comfortable and very friendly. Appreciated the room up grade as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. Had breakfast delivered to room both mornings which was excellent and right on time. Highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: location
Cons: most everything - needs painting, bathroom updates, lighting improvements, new carpeting in hallways. acomfortable chair or 2 in the lobby.
Location: great location. lots of great pubs, restaurants and sights nearby.
pretty disappointing! hallways were dark, dirty and moldy. room was clean. but needed painting. the shower leaked. the beds were comfortable, but small. great location couldn't make up for disappointing facilities.

Very comfortable and modern hotel in temple bar

A pleasurable experience for our first time in Dublin, ideally located in temple bar so close to most of the attractions that Dublin has to offer. The buffet breakfast was good value for money , then only slight moan was that our room was directly above the Hard Rock Cafe so was a little noisy late at night. However, the hotel provided ear plugs in the room to combat the noise.

booked a twin room, got in there and was presented with a double bed - for two people on a business trip! There was an additional room available and they kindly opened this for us. Sonia went out of her way to help us change the rooms over. The decor looks odd, it is very much like a nightclub - very dark and perhaps trying a bit too hard to be cool. it clearly caters for a particular guest demographic. Not the greatest hotel for a business trip, but probably perfectly good if you are a couple on a weekend away. Breakfast was OK. Front of house staff were OK, not helpful though on restaurant recommendations or giving clear directions to them. Overall, the hotel could do with some decor improvements, some lighting improvements and general maintenance.

Cool, modern hotel in the thick of it.

Pros: The rooms were well-designed and comfortable. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Downstairs is a bit over-designed and unwelcoming.
Location: In the thick of it - within walking distance of good shops, bars and restaurants.
This certainly qualifies as a 'trendy' hotel. The downstairs is a bit 'fashion victim' but the rooms themselves are tasteful and luxurious. Lovely staff, great breakfast and a good position in the heart of Temple Bar. Although, that does mean it's a bit noisy on an evening, but I was expecting that.

Great room was upgraded to kingsize dulux room. Was nice and clean very spacious, beds were comfortable. Only complaint was geting in at night the door is lockd and you have to ring a bell to enter the hotel, We ended up standing outside for around 10 mins waiting for someone to answer, would be far easier if ur hotel room card could be used on frount door aswell.

The Morgan is in a great location and is quite easy to find in the city with lots of bars, restaurants and even a small supermarket on the same street. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was lovely, we booked a suit which is was one of the best we've stayed in. The only problem was that the lift was broken and our room was on the fourth floor. There was a bit of noise out side from a fan or extractor or something but apart from that was quiet.
