Good value for moneyPosted Aug 29, 2015
Cons: Response on changes could have been better. We had requested a name change to our reservation which never happened.
North Star was a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location. The beds were not terribly comfortable and there were some maintenance issues but they were addressed quickly. Overall the staff were very nice but there were a few small things that were not dealt with adequately. It was in a great location, it was directly across from the train station. Most importantly, they had family rooms which for a family of four can be somewhat difficult to find. Overall I would recommend it!

SuperbPosted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Spacious, quiet room. My bathroom had a bathtub.
Location: Only a few minutes to walk from Connolly tram station or the main bus station.
I thought it was very good value for money. Close to transport and eating options.

Posted Jul 12, 2015

Well locatedPosted Jun 24, 2015
Nice hotel. Short walk to O'Connell St. Near train tracks & not a pretty area but otherwise a very nice hotel. Had an issue with their airport shuttle. They never showed up & we had to get a cab. Hotel manager reimbursed us & arranged for a cab on their tab for return to airport. Very well handled. Diffused our anger completely. Professionally run

The North star hotelPosted Jun 5, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed for one night only but in that time the staff were very nice, room was excellent and the food in the hotel lovely. My wife and I both agreed that on our next trip to Dublin we certainly would'nt bother to look anywhere else.
