Awesome in the Heart of DublinPosted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: Better explanation of room charges/fees.
Location: Great pubs, shopping and attractions most with in a 10 min walk!
Can't beat this location, close to everything in the heart of Dublin. Staff and amenities were excellent! The Gallery was the best part and the perfect spot to end any day's adventure with a beverage and a bite!

Did not get what was bookedPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Location is convenient
Cons: Need to replace the Customers Relations Manager or retrain.
We booked a room with two single beds (this was important since it was two friends travelling). Callled and verified before arriving. Upon arrival we were assured we had a room with two single beds, we were shown to a room and told it had two single beds. Instead it was one king bed. We were told that the hotel was full and we would have to accept a roll away. They offered a free dinner to make up for it. Since we had both flown overnight from USA to Ireland with no sleep and were getting ready to embark on a 6 day tour, we had hoped for a good nights sleep and was very dissapointed. We asked for a full comp on the room. The head of customers relations then called. While everyone else was very friendly, he was rude. He told me he would give us 50% off but he should not do that. When I asked why, he said that the room was a "commodity" and he did not have to give us anything. I had explained to him all the phonecalls and discussions we had with his staff to confirm two single beds and he asked me to show him emails. His staff had already confirmed our request so this was confusing why he decided to question us on this. While we were dissapointed in that the lack of recieving what we booked, the most dissapointing aspect of the hotel was the behavior of the customers relations manager. If he is the one in charge of taking care of customers, based on his rude behavior, this hotel is not oriented to the care of it's customers.

Perfect LocationPosted Oct 6, 2015
The Westbury is located right in the heart of the Dublin Shopping district. It is very old world luxury. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Bedding was luxurious. The bathroom was done in marble and had lovely thick towels and a towel warmer. I would recommend to anyone.

Great hotel to be near all the action in downtownPosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: Clean, upscale, comfortable beds
Cons: Access thru the construction period. Although, any cab driver had no problem. I would not recommend driving to this hotel. No need for a car.
Location: A vibrant shopping, restaurant, and pub district.
Loved the location, loved the comfort, although it was somewhat difficult to find with all of the construction going on around it.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Dublin.Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff,
Cons: Had trouble controlling the room temperature with the air conditioning unit.
Location: Many shop and bars to visit. Great sightseeing and attractions to visit within walking distance.
Wonderful to walk, shop and drink along Grafton St. Plenty of sights to see within walking distance of the hotel. Many friendly clubs to have a pint. Hotel was beautiful and just a half a block away from Grafton St. Bruxelles bar and restaurant right outside the hotel had some of the greatest soups I have ever eaten. Tables inside and out to dine or drink.
