Great hotel to be near all the action in downtownPosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: Clean, upscale, comfortable beds
Cons: Access thru the construction period. Although, any cab driver had no problem. I would not recommend driving to this hotel. No need for a car.
Location: A vibrant shopping, restaurant, and pub district.
Loved the location, loved the comfort, although it was somewhat difficult to find with all of the construction going on around it.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Dublin.Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff,
Cons: Had trouble controlling the room temperature with the air conditioning unit.
Location: Many shop and bars to visit. Great sightseeing and attractions to visit within walking distance.
Wonderful to walk, shop and drink along Grafton St. Plenty of sights to see within walking distance of the hotel. Many friendly clubs to have a pint. Hotel was beautiful and just a half a block away from Grafton St. Bruxelles bar and restaurant right outside the hotel had some of the greatest soups I have ever eaten. Tables inside and out to dine or drink.

9 out of 10 staff were friendly. Don't expect much service after 1 am.

Begin and End at the WestburyPosted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Able to open the windows in the room (prefer fresh air to air conditioning).
Cons: Instructions on how to use the electric in the room (have to turn on the switch near the door in order for other switches to work)
Location: Easy walking distance to Trinity College, Churches, historic sites, restaurants, pubs and shopping
We started and ended our trip to Ireland at the Westbury in Dublin

A weekend break, with visits to family as wellPosted Aug 12, 2015
Wonderful stay, in the centre of town. We've stayed at The Westbury several times... since the '80s. Still a cosseting and un-stuffy enjoyment, staying here. Love it! Thank-you.

Excellent hotel, right in the centre of DublinPosted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: The location, the room, the staff.
Cons: Reliability of room cleaning service so that it is available at 'guaranteed' check in time.
Location: Right on Grafton St, great location for shopping, restaurants, theatres.
Lovely, huge, room with two queen size beds (perfect for family of three). Immaculate accommodation. Disappointing that the room wasn't ready at 3pm check-in time; nor - despite being told it would be ready in ten minutes - was it available an hour later at 4pm. Breakfast very expensive at Euros 30 for a full Irish - but plenty of really excellent alternatives close by, including upstairs in the Kilkenny Design Centre. Staff were outstanding.
