Pros: Convenient to the airport
No elevator and we were assigned a room on the top floor. The night clerk was not supportive.

Scruffy hotel at Dublin airport

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: Restaurant was ok.
Cons: Needs a total upgrade and air-conditioning.
Location: Close to Dublin airport
This scruffy hotel is showing its age. Lack of air-conditioning required us to open windows at night, which resulted in a lot of traffic noise.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Pros: No hair dryer in the room but the front desk had them.
We only stayed one night but staff are very helpful. Only gripe was we got there early and had to wait for the room and we were tired. Good value for the money.

A decent stay

The Travel Lodge at the Dublin airport is perfect location to stay at when you have a flight to catch. The room was fine. Fairly spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Very Disappointing

Posted Sep 9, 2016
Pros: Not much. Close to Swords.
Cons: Everything needs to be completely redone.
Location: Great Thai restaurant within walking distance.
Wow, this is the worst motel I've stayed in in a long time. The halls and rooms make you think you've dropped into One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, or some other psych ward film. All the furniture is bolted down or to the walls like a bad boys dorm. There are two electrical outlets in the whole place (one of which was for the TV). None in the bathroom. No soap in the bathroom or shower other than a squeeze bottle bolted to the wall. The one in the shower was mildewy. No Kleenex anywhere. No bar soap, shower gel, lotion or anything like that, which isn't any problem, just serves to make it feel more institutional. When the shower was turned on the water smelled delightfully like pond water. Fortunately that went away. The shower has almost no pressure though. For positives, the sheets and towels visually looked clean, who knows though. For more negatives, the carpet was stained. Overall a completely dismal place to stay. Which, had I paid $75 a night, I might think was somewhat ok. However, I was charged $175 a night which is completely and absolutely atrocious. And to add insult to injury they also charge you 2 euro to take you to the airport! Horrible!

Basic comfortable hotel close to Dublin Airport

Posted Aug 30, 2016
This hotel was great for a one night, late arrival stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable, shower good. Not a place to linger as the fittings are quite basic but a good overnight place

Close to Airport

Posted Aug 27, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: The shuttle doesn't run for over an hour during breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours. It would be more helpful to have the shuttle running continuously.
Location: Dublin is full of places to go and sites to see
A shuttle runs to the Airport at 30 minute intervals. Hotel restaurant is centrally located and has a good selection of dishes. The hotel staff were very helpful and the rooms are very quiet.
