Stayed in a villa right on the sea front with amazing views and sounds of the sea. The villa was very modern - huge comfortable bed and excellent bathroom with good shower over bath. Small kitchen - might struggle to cook a meal but OK for basics (and it does have a kettle). Beach bar/restaurant serving excellent food was a stone's throw away, as was the pool. Didn't use the facilities in the actual hotel, but had meals at the pizzeria and the all a carte restaurants as well as the beach bar - all excellent. The staff were lovely at all of the venues and hotel reception. Couldn't fault them. Mlini itself is very small but beautiful - great access to Dubrovnik old town and Cavtat by water taxi or shuttle bus from the hotel. The only thing that needs to be improved is the music they play during the day at the pool and evenings in the bars - a bit of variety would be nice!!

Just returned from a lovely 8 night stay here. The apartment feels like a home from home and is spacious, clean and well presented with great views overlooking the coast. Doris and Pero are very welcoming hosts, leaving morning pastry treats and giving advice on days out etc. Would happily stay here again.

We wanted somewhere to unwind in and explore Dubrovnik. Vila Perla was ideal. Located close enough to the main drag to get there easily but without the noise and ten minutes walk from the beach.
Free off street parking was great.
Owner was exceptionally helpful with good advice about local facilities.
Would definitely go back!

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff are mostly very good. Generally we found Croatian service to be slow so don't judge the bar service badly, to us this seemed a typical trait in Dubrovnik. Beautiful views and cool tiny cave bar. If you are vegetarian you may be a little put off by the way the oily sausages and meats share the cheese and egg spoons as you know the oil/utensils would have been dipped in the non-vegetarian foods by guests mixing them up but you can order poached eggs fresh from the staff. The local area seems to be picking up on the idea of having vegetarian options too, although sparse. There are some nice places to eat nearby. Overall, we had a really good time at this hotel and the staff were helpful when we needed them. I highly recommend their masseuse too!

the apartment was brilliant. i cannot praise it enough. Their customer service was brilliant from the start when they sent us a welcome email, with a map/directions of how to get the apartments from pile gate.
They responded to our emails for further information about checking in earlier than permitted, very promptly.
we cannot fault the helpful house manager on our arrival ( thank you marta)
the room was fantastic, well equipped for self catering, microwave, fridge, electric hob and coffee maker.
Access to wifi and a computer in the lobby area. Access to clean towels when we needed them and a washing machine ( laundry soap provided)
They couldnt have done anymore to make you feel welcome.
our room was lovely and quiet, with aircon. We slept like babies eventhough we were within the city walls!!!
