This was a quiet hotel. I booked a double room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom fixed with a good shower, plenty of towels, and lots of room. The stage at reception and the bar were extremely professional and very helpful. The restaurant staff were friendly but not knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant: breakfast was excellent with a range of really good choices, cooked breakfast, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, pancakes, fresh fruit, Croissant and fresh honey and jams:dinner (evening meal) everything is sadly over cooked and dry. From chicken to pork chips and fish all over cooked. The chips potatoes always cold. Good selection of desserts. If this hotel could improve the dinner and restaurant service it would be a great stay instead of mediocre.

The hotel was lovely. I stayed in April 24 not everywhere was open locally for the season. But i did find some lovely places for eating and drinking. The hotel was a 10 min walk to the bus stop which was then a 10 min crowded bus ride to old town. Not a 10 min walk i had been advised. I was on a city break so didnt use the pool area at the hotel but it looked lovely

Nice place.
Nice hotel in a lovely location, but, at the moment the road outside is being re-worked, massive disruption everyday apart from weekends, will probably go on until sometime next year !! Totally unexpected. Rooms are good but ours was way too hot, asked reception to sort it but never sorted to our approval. Overall it was just, nice.

Loved our stay here. Hotel and facilities are great and the staff are outstanding the customer service can not be faulted. Staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is stress free and as enjoyable as possible. Currently the area directly outside has road works but they can be easily avoided by using a different entrance/exit in the hotel. staff at the hotel will also drive you through the construction area if you ask them. Location is about 10 min bus journey from old town, bus stop is five min walk from hotel and easy to find. Local area is scenic with lots of restaurants, beach, promenade and harbour Would happily stay here again.

Nice stay in Dubrovnik!
Clean Hotel in a decent location by the Marina. The number 6 bus goes regularly into the old town, making Dubrovnik slightly more cost-affective! Overall a good stay, a nice little restaurant which serves coffee and food during the day, and the pool looked nice, although it was a bit too Cold to try it out.

The hotel itself was fine and staff was pleasant. However there is MAJOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION on the entire street in front of the hotel and they wait until the day before you check in to tell you that there is SOME construction. I asked neighborhood restaurant and was told this has been going on for THREE YEARS!!! the hotel should be required to disclose the information before someone books the hotel. Not cool.

A Nice Stay
The hotel was very good overall, unfortunately the road outside is under construction and the hotel should have said that on their website OR Hotels.Com should have known about it. The construction appears to be going on a long time, it just made getting to and from the hotel a bit awkward. The breakfast in the hotel is very basic with cheaper style cereals etc, eggs were always hard and cold. If LAPAD could improve on the breakfast it would be a BIG step. More quality and better selection.

Only issues where the roadworks that stopped taxis getting down and with the mud/stones it was difficult to wear sandals/flipflops but that's not really the properties fault.

Excellent hotel with good breakfast
Good choice for visit to Dubrovnik or cruise terminal. Staff were helpful and efficient. We especially appreciated the pool guy who removed towels from sun beds if folk had reserved them but had not used them for half an hour or so. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and all the staff were very welcoming . Our room had a small balcony as requested and was very comfortable and quiet. Bus into the Old Town is close by, easy and frequent.

Unfortunately there was a lot of building work going on around the hotel for the new marina which made it difficult to navigate the paths. This was July 2023 so I would expect this to be finished later this year. Otherwise good location, could walk 10mins and get a bus to Dubrovnik old town. Be warned Drink & food in the old town is very expensive. £9 a pint of beer!

The area outside of the hotel is under construction and has been for 2 years. We are informed another year of construction is ahead. It is poorly lit at night and the road is rubble. There are large holes along the way. Taxis etc have trouble with access. We ordered an Uber, after waiting 15 minutes it got cancelled as they could not reach us so we hd to walk to the end of the road and order again. Making us worried we would miss a trip. We were not fully informed of this before we went. When it is finished I’m sure it will be beautiful. The hotel is clean and the rooms cleaned every day, chambermaids are friendly. Staff in the restaurant, reception, at the bar etc barely want to acknowledge you, almost a little unfriendly at times! The evening entertainment put on by the hotel is good, live music. The pool area is quiet (apart from the sound of the construction at times) and there were always adequate sun loungers and umbrellas. The breakfast is varied and plenty of it.

A nice hotel near a beach and restaurants in a nice area away from the horde of tourists in old town. Only problem is road construction outside the hotel that seems to be taking a long time to finish. When this construction is finished the hotel will be in an even nicer spot across from a Marina. The hotel has an amazing breakfast selection with the best hotel coffee we had in Croatia

Hotel was clean and spotless to be fair. However, it is located on a road that is currently subject to heavy construction works that are somewhat dangerous to navigate and v messy. Taxis refuse to pick up and drop off nearby as too challenging.The quality of breakfast options is pretty low for a 4 star hotel and the rooms are rather dated and tired. Not worth the money all things considered

Firstly, the hotel is really nice, rooms are perfect, staff good and the breakfast buffet was all you need. Then the negative, which thankfully is only temporary. There is a new road being built outside the hotel and this appears to be the only way in and out of the hotel. To get to the hotel you need to walk through a live construction site, which frankly is dangerous and unsafe. There was working machinery in operation through the day as pedestrians made their way through the works, and at night you walk through base and sand with pools of water. I can’t understand why a pedestrian walkway hasn’t been erected to ensure the safety of the public and reduce the risk of serious injury . I genuinely worry that someone will be seriously injured walking to or from the hotel. I feel really sorry for staff at the hotel as it’s a very nice hotel, but until the road and footway is complete and free of works, I wouldn’t stay at the hotel for your own safety. I don’t think the hotel should currently be open during these works, unless an alternative entry/exit point is provided

Check for construction works before booking!
Most important is there is MAJOR construction work at the marina right outside the hotel. Hard to find the hotel driving as you think you are driving onto the construction site. For one night it was fine, but if this was our family holiday i would be very unhappy. No notification from the hotel about the works. Having said all that ... the actual hotel was lovely, no complaints at all.

The hotel itself was lovely and modern. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing with large selection to choose from. We did have an uninvited guest to our room when the do not disturb sign was up however I was told this was because someone had given our room number by accident when checking out. I was however very annoyed to learn about the chaos directly outside the door entrance of the hotel. It was like a building site, roads into the hotel were completely dug up and you had to walk alongside live machinery to get to the hotel which was completely unsafe. Out shoes were destroyed and the hotel staff couldn't care less. The pool area was lovely but again it was not possible to relax as all you could hear was the machinery from the roadworks outside the entrance with all the loud banging. The pool was also very dirty as the dust and dirt was sitting at the bottom of the pool. If it wasn't for the roadworks I would have enjoyed my stay and would have rated 5 stars.

The staff are wonderful and responsive. The pool and restaurant areas are also pleasant. Unfortunately, our time at the hotel was impacted by the construction at the main entrance, which was not communicated to us. This led to multiple delays and difficult access.

A lovely hotel with even more potential. The pool area and original buildings are beautiful, but the breakfast and evening 'Buffets' are pedestrian - albeit affordable. The 'pool-side' dining is a missed opportunity with such a lovely setting and regular music, but the food is not really elevated from the buffet / cafe (the placemats are the menu!). Not unreasonably priced for what it is, but could be pitched much higher (quality and price) to do justice to the hotel and its history.

This is a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, a nice pool and a good breakfast. The street out front is ripped up right now so cabs can rarely get to the front door. We did find a much better way out (on the 6th floor out the back door and thru the gate, woth very little climbing) for both catching an Uber or walking to Sunset beach. The property and surrounding area will be much nicer once the construction is complete
